  1. So...was "this Wednesday" the day they post them out or the day they would arrive with us via the next day courier (i.e. get posted today) SB ? I admit I may have an impatience issue I expect posting here will also make you lot waiting too think that it was an update - sorry !
  2. Hehe, probably, then again I'd be up for a giggle if it were me in control of a very sought after gun
  3. Well, if I didn't get excited over an M249 turning up, I'd think it was time to quit airsoft Agreed on an online update though, it'd save them a lot of grief I expect they are getting hehe. Fingers crossed they don't get stuck in customs for too long, if they do at all, I have the week off work and would love it to arrive this week. As for the shipment, I bet it raised a few eyebrows
  4. Nope, I've been checking their retail forum and the ACM forum over on ASCUK in the hope of updates, but nothing as of yet. Annoyingly !
  5. Good news As for the whole "m249's will infest the skirmish sites country wide". All I can say is ######. It has been said before that something along those lines would happen with various guns over the past couple of years (Star m249 being the closest example to this). Sure, a few more popped up, but it really isn't like every man and his dog has one. That is reserved for the armalite variants
  6. ASW hasn't posted an update since they confirmed the shipment had left China on the 4th. ActionHobbys doesnt have any new info either. Yeah, I'm watching it like a hawk as I want my para too
  7. I was bored and got the digi cam out for a few quick snaps, this one came out the best of the lot - I get really fussy and generally take a load and end up with only 1 or 2 I actually think are alright ! Personally I think it looks better grey scale than colour. I think the lawn provides a bit too much of a contrast for a background
  8. Exactly what I think, hence I am already there rolling-thunder, I went for the Para too Plus I love tinkering away on my guns, so it'll give me a new project too.
  9. Umm, indeed, except is as it should be, last I read. The CA certainly didn't have an alu foregrip? Or actually : I'd take a PGC box over a V2 in a support weapon any day. Not everyone has £400+ to spend, thats the idea behind the STAR and now this in terms of budget support options. It has been established to be a clone of the CA 249 design, even down to friggin manual. You may have reason to doubt the build quality but I don't see doubt in the majority of the actual design, except maybe the box mag and a few internal parts. Try being a bit more infor
  10. Looks ace mate though I'd personally not of combined the freedom art comp frame with the tk comp, and used a shorter ib instead. I like the optics, how much was the Burris?
  11. I'm not a huge fan of modern muscle cars but that is pretty damn cool Pinkfloyd. Must of cost a few airsoft / beer tokens SW, just click the ignore user button dude, I know I now have once I read the utter tripe spewed over the last few pages. Makes the thread much nicer to read too !
  12. As I said I would, heres my 'K with the stock adaptor tidied up. It won't ever be 100% neat as I had to rebuild a right angled area with epoxy alone and no way to really mould it into shape, but there isn't a hole there now. Folded: Unfolded: I like the MP7 with the 416 irons and eotech, nice combination. I'd considered the ironsights myself at one point as I think they look really nifty, but it wouldn't work with my MP7 holster so I had to forget it. Nice pics as usual
  13. Cheers I will get a few more shots up soon, I deliberately didn't put up an unfolded stock shot as the mods still aren't 100% finished on the stock adaptor and it looks a bit ugly still atm. Hopefully I'll have that sorted shortly though - watch this space !
  14. Seems like a good time to post a quick pre complete piccy. Finally, having had the parts for a good 3 months...just got to tidy up the stock adaptor and get a docter replica RDS and is is sorted. It's a bit longer than if it had a real B&T 'K specific stock on it, but given I'm a tall guy it is actually perfect for me. It also cost about 60% less.
  15. To be honest guys, be realistic. At the end of the day the gearbox has to be tiny to fit, and the fact they managed at all to make these new AEPs / MAEGs electric is impressive. After all, when the gearbox is only <2cm wide and about 9cm long, you can't expect the cylinder to allow performance in line with a big old AEG mechbox.

Yes miss. Though what I was getting at was that yourself (and an additional poster) both made suggestions that the gun was made to appear somehow more realistic through the addition of something that isn't commonly found on a USP anyway, i.e. the grip tape a like "decals". If you want to misconstrue that to me thinking aftermarket additions to a gun aren't right, you have no understanding of how airsoft and myself get along in that department. Nice compact SlugPellets, looks good without the tacky printed on white trades of cheaper slides. Just needs the proof marks / date stamps in the

Christ, Lets put it this way, the grip tape looks poo and it isn't a factory fitted extra or something to make it more realistic. It's just someone playing with their roll of grip tape and a pair of scissors. Most people wouldn't do that.
  18. Co witnessing is having iron sights align with the dot of an RDS, i.e. when looking down your rds the front sight post would have a red dot sat on the top of it - points of impact using either to aim would be the same. The MP7 irons are probably going to be too high or too low (Depending if you have them in pistol or rifle "mode"). I haven't actually seen the samurai or other versions of the docter style optic in person, but the integrated mount will meant they probably don't sit very high off the rail.
  19. Not sure why some of the plastic furniture has metal wear to it either ?
  20. Nice Marpat-esque paint jobs Obi Wahn
  21. I have thought they would fit fine considering the long mp7 mags are thinner than a UMP or P90 mag, and of a similar width. If anything, you might find the mag pouch a bit long for the MP7 mags. Possibly worth buying just one pouch to test before splashing out a few
  22. The adaptor supplied, which goes on after you remove the flash hider is for any 14mm-ve accessory as normal. Just you
  23. True for some I guess. I tend to be put off buying from people who don't post prices purely for that reason though, and if the price isn't up purely out of laziness for not knowing the value of the items in question, I wouldn't want to deal with that person anyway
  24. I can't see how it puts sellers at a disadvantage really. Personally I always chose UKAN & ASCUK for selling things over Arnies purely because the subdivision into sections made it easier and clearer. I find it a lot better to, for example, look in the AEG accessories section for an mp5 mag, than have to go through 5 pages of shoelaces, dpm and other assorted ###### to stumble across one for sale. I can't say I've ever used the search function to find stuff for sale myself, to me that would seem more time consuming and effort driven than just browsing at leisure through the relevant
