All business, no fluff.

It does only when you go prone (tactical seesaw, anyone?). But otherwise, you'll be fine. The HSGI line is designed for doorkickers, not guerillas.

Looks ace, man. Mine is plain by comparison.

There is a way to subtly cover up those markings. Use modeling putty to cover up the trades (do it neatly) and then use sandpaper to weather down the putty so it is almost even with the rest of the finish. Use a bit of spray paint to even out the finish when you are done. The CA markings are easily filled in and covered up. The results will be even more inconspicuous if you paint the weapon afterward.

Thank you, thank you. I like it very much.

Very nice G3s, y'all. I have a picture request: has anyone built a custom G3 along the lines with the AG-3 from Norway? If not, can I at least have a picture of a G3A4 with a low-profile mount and an Aimpoint CompML2? I am tempted to build myself such a weapon in the near future. Right now, I can think of using a CA G3A4 as the base platform, adding a G&P RAS system, vertical foregrip, AN/PEQ-2 battery box, and the aforementioned optics. That and a two-tone desert paintjob.

Nice and easy. Although I do plan on getting two Pelican 1720 cases in the future - one for my woodland rifles (M733 & G3SG/1) in OD, and the other for my desert rifles (M16A4 & AG3) in tan.
