  1. Too right. It would be a big plus for that SPR/A.
  2. I am very tempted (despite the announcement about quality problems - for those will be fixed over time and I am in no hurry) to buy one of those M16A4 variants and customize it into a DMR. As I live and play in Southern California, temperature is not a problem. I probably would buy only one additional magazine for it (stashed in a stock-mounted pouch), as I already have AEGs to back it up if the heat gets close.
  3. And there's more... An inaccessible beach under a gloomy sky. A view of the ocean from high above. Where land meets sea. A blood-red field just inland. The sunset view I get out of my university dorm room window.
  4. The hills surrounding my house. A bridge on California's Highway #1. CA1 around Big Sur. A beach just off the highway. The same beach, at a different angle. The lighthouse at Pigeon Point. The frigid sea and dangerous rocks around the lighthouse.
  5. I like the setup. Basic but it nonetheless gets the job done and done well. Personally, I think Norway's G3s are the only ones that still retain the G3's classic beauty even with the installation of RAS systems.
  6. It won't be 100% true to the game, of course. Or else I would have ordered a CIRAS. I like having some personal freedom to tailor my gear to suit my needs. For the moment, my 'Satch is loaded with "plates" that I made from four layers of cardboard... Which were taken from the shipping box. Nothing goes to waste in my house. I just improvise and improvise and improvise.
  7. Yep. It's genuine HSGI, so are the shoulder pads and the triple pistol magazine pouches. The radio pouch is Pantac.
  8. Just arrived in the mail this morning. It's for my MGS4-inspired desert PMC/mercenary loadout.
  9. I do it out of convenience. I'm a large man and the G&P sling isn't the best fit. When in the safe zone, I tend to wear it normally. However, it makes the switch to firing stance slow and difficult. Wearing the sling with the loop around my neck gives the best range of motion for my carbine. In the field, the only times I let my carbine hang free is when I have to suddenly switch to my sidearm.

  11. Agreed. It's better than that of a lot of people who are native speakers. By Colt's standards, a carbine can have an A1 upper receiver, an A2 lower receiver, and an A1 barrel and still be called an M733.
