  1. This course of action would also fit their previous dealings with the "G" issue: the ATP
  2. Dealtas did wear RAVs in ACU time. There's this one pic of a dude with one and ucp in front of a chinook
  3. Yup, back in 2001-2003 or so they did
  4. I agree. I slapped a wannabe-Miad grip on it. Way more comfy
  5. You wouldn't happen to have pictures of that?
  6. As leaned on the WA nozzle, it likely has a pin in the back. Just got mine extended today. Pics to come Edit: btw, I replaced the HU-Rubber with a Marui one. This should be interesting....
  7. I believe the 12" kit actually has a cheek raiser included
  8. I've shot it with both WOC and the Masada Kit. Works fine in both. Like the older stanag-type GHK-mags you'll need to file down the sides a little because it's a really tight fit in the mag well. That takes about a minute
  9. I forgot to mention. They also work fine in the Masada Conversion Kit
  10. @ Racegeek: yes, they do. if you have an Ino or G&P, you need to file down the sides where they go into the magwell a little. Their performance seems to be on par with the old GHKs and G&P Pmags, so about 10-15 fps less than prowins
  11. Those 350 ish FPS were measured on a UFC chrono, the 320-330 on a Xcortec. I'd say, you're simply using the wrong type of gas. Abbey gas is made in the UK, don't tell me you can't get it there. Or maybe something like Begadi medium Gas
  12. Had her out in the field yesterday. Awesome little gun. Very loud, heavy recoil. Hopup seem to readjust a little over time. It was like 24°C outside yesterday (that's around 75-80°F) On the field chrono, she had around 350fps. On my own chrono, measued at around 28-30° in the attic, she's < 330fps, both on abbey predator gas. How much lower do you want to go?
  13. Yea, same here. Haven't had the chance to take her out yet, and I don't want to fiddle around with the internals before I see how she does unchanged. Barrel lenght should be pretty much an MP5, though
  14. Aye, but then you'd need some other way to regulate FPS. Neither the G5 nor VFC's 416 have an NPAS available for them. Also, I'm not such a great fan of the NPAS. The idea is great, but the design is somewhat flawed. I have one of the latest generation full metal (genuine RA-TECH) ones for the WA system, and it still readjusts itself. Plus FPS are a lot less consistent than most regular nozzles
  15. IMO the barrel doesn't make that much of a difference. It might be much simpler to regulate FPS with the gas type you use. Propane or even yellow gas in the winter and abbey ultra or medium gas in the summer
  16. Hey BLZ, if you're talking barrel length, the G5 has about 7-9" I'd say. Afaik GHK is planning for extension upgrades, one carbine and one sniper length. I'd saay carbine brings it up to about 11" and sniper propably to 15-16" Barrel type looks very much like a standard AEG, I haven actually taken it out yet, though
  17. +1 on that. BTW, the BC is extremely heavy. Sure it's not steel already?
  18. Mina came in two days ago. I was unsure for a while, wavering between the G5 and a Vector. Vector took itself out of the competition, so the G5 won by default. It was the lead competitor anyways, because of the WA-compatible magazine and it's sleek for which reminded me of the SCARAB from Crysis 3. Anyways. I've yet to open her up but a few comments: She's very small and slender. I'd say, with the coming barrel extension, she'll be around the size of a CQBR, 10 - 11", making her awesome for cqb. +She will fire WA mags (Pmags and old type GHKs) +Selector goes to safe even if decock
  19. Back in the Army days, we used to have an expression for that: wie Sie sehen, sehen sie nichts! (As you can see, you can't see anything). I can't even tell your camo, moose
  20. you could use abbey predator gas instead of green. That'll cost you around 10-15fps
  21. No direct source per se. There is one vid by Public Enemy where he shoots a GHK PDW with a G5 Mag. the PDW used to run on GHK stanag mag (which will be sorely missed, btw), which are identical to GHK WA mags in every way, minus the valve lock. A logical conclusion is that therefore every WA mag runs in the PDW with its valve lock removed (the damn things create more problems than they solve anyway), and if they function in the PDW, they also work in the G5. You'll need to remove the valve locks from your Pmags, if you haven't done so already.
  22. @ Stress: absolutely love your gear! Both the Seal and TF 141 loadouts. The beard makes it just THAT much better
