  1. Only thing with the PLA look, is this is the export version of the rifle. The type 95 that the Chinese use, has different mags and magwell. Still, looks ace, and very individual.
  2. May not have been his fault. Without opening my GB, it stripped itself. Wether this be because the people at RS didn't put it together properly, I can't be sure. My theory though, was the shorter, tankish type spring, would me more at will to put strong sideways pressure on the spring guide. When I took my broken gun apart the spring guide had snapped, causing the piston to jam backwards, and lose all it's teeth.
  3. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=133636 I'm sure this thread has been reported many times already.
  4. Just a strobe flashlight isn't it? (Try this for a lightsabre http://www.dailytech.com/WickedLasers+Unveils+Lightsaber+Powerful+Enough+to+Set+People+on+Fire/article18681.htm )
  5. I run mine with a silencer (97b). Not noticed any difference in accuracy to be honest. The sound is much nicer.
  6. I felt the stock accuracy on the T97B was good enough not to bother changing the barrel. But I did wonder about that. The hop chamber seems very tight as it is. Has anyone tried changing the barrel out for a prommy (useually bigger in outer diameter than a normal AEG barrel), and experienced any problems? Or has anyone swaped it for any other make, and maby found it easier to reinstall into the chamber?
  7. Is that optic what I think it is?
  8. That's awesome. Attention to detail is everything in that (ignoring the ejection port, and the charging handle). I love it. Good work Hedg, and good work Doc!
  9. I'm a big fan of what you've done there Kojak.
  10. and so you should be. That looks kosher.
  11. Mine was much the same. First game of use the spring guide broke. And the tank of a spring wasn't instilling me with alot of confidence. Swapped it out ASAP. On a Madbull M100 it fires at 345-350. I read somewhere (redwolf I think) about the sector gear being short one tooth on the B varient, but mine isn't. I wonder if that's something that was only included in the original run. Anyone else checked that sort of thing?
  12. For some reason, Marlow's thread seems to have dissapeared. So I'll add to this one. I got an LCT AMD-65 yesterday. First impressions were very good. G&P mags didn't fit instantly, but I filed down the front and now they fit fine. That's about where the good stuff ends. Most of the problems are related to the LCT gearbox they now seem to be issueing with these guns. Also though, the barrel was slightly at a tilt. Not wonky, but tilted, so lining up down the irons means you're not lining up with the ribs on the dust cover. Minor issue in my eyes. It's an AK varient, and it's not externa
  13. It's a PTW, who cares... Nice M4 Vainguard.
  14. Just call it FDE. Worked for the chinasoft Scar...
  15. LCT make an AMD-65 with a rail system. Not sure what UltimAK is to be honest, but here's the options as far as prebuilt jobs go. http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=category&item=LCT-AEG-PMCAMD65&search=special&rs=LCT%20AEGs&catid=6&cat=436 http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=category&item=LCT-AEG-KCIAMD65&search=special&rs=LCT%20AEGs&catid=6&cat=436 I think those rails systems suit the AMD-65 more than any other AK going. That's not to say I'm a fan.
  16. Ooo, first AMD-65 in ages. Mine is stuck in customs as we speek. Looks good. Can't wait for mine to arrive.
  17. Try Hogue's German based site. Hogue US don't like delivering across the pond. Or possibly Midway UK.
  18. That's a fairly pleasant tone... Shoot me now!

    KJW M4

So does the WA m4. It's an adapted system from the Manga blowback pistols. Thing is, once you give the gun a nice heavy bolt to work with, a long barrel, and the demands of the people useing it, to have a kick more like a rifle and less like a GBB pistol, you're going to encounter problems. Increased power means increased stress. Besides that, to say it's the same as we see in pistols is frankly rude to the people who've spent ages getting these systems to a point where they work, and can be manufactured on a mass basis. They're similar principals, but at the same time, very different mechanis
  20. ¬¬ I'm not impressed, but I am impressed. I hate you either way.
  21. Any plans to change the pistol grip, or mill down that barrel? Personally I think your version looks better than the real thing But it's a very good copy given what was available, well done.
  22. Lack of hop up and silly high FPS might put a downer on it. You got any pictures of any revolvers you've owned you want to contribute to this picture thread?
  23. In stock form, apparently firing at 130m/s (according to RS) my SVD goes the straightest and farthest with .28s of the ammo's I've tried. Soon as I get my hands on some .3s, I'll try them too. .25s had quite an arch in their flight path to get the BB to go as far as the .28 would go strait. We're talking about 65-70m effective range.
