Why would you make 2 kits, one for TM and one for KSC, when the TM one would fit both? Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty confident it doesn't.

Well it's one of the best looking M14s I've ever seen. So I guess there's something to thank crappy laws for...

Basically a standard V3 piston, but with a cutaway at the top to allow for the quick detach mechanism. I'm fairly confident you could fit a normal V3 piston to this, with slight modifications. Although I've not tried. The RS pistons are cheap enough anyway. Very good material as well. Maybe not the best if you're doing some crazy FPS or ROF, but I'm happy with them for normal use. Edit: Just visually checked it against a normal piston. It seems to be longer on the front, like it's already been shimmed for angle of engagement (although it hasn't). Nothing I'm sure you couldn't replicate with a couple of washers and a longer screw for the piston head. May as well do the AOE while you're there.

That is just fantastic. How many, and which bolts do you have?

Well, when I got this gun I ordered 2 spare mags at the same time. I've now given up using the 3 RS mags, as they have horrible feeding issues. Mostly caused by the double stacking of the mags, and the BB's seem to want to sit side by side, and grind slowly up the tube, or not move at all, as opposed to being staggered and feeding well like they should. Got my hands on a TM mag earlier today anyway, and wondered if the internals could be swapped over for the nice finish on the RS mags, and the reliable feeding of the TM 68rd single stack lowcaps. They can . Nothing exactly keeps the TM mags in the RS shell, apart from friction, but it took a fair amount of force to remove the innards once they were in. So I'll be doing that for sure.

Who wants a full auto gas pistol? Cooldown hurts, especially in British winters. If you want to use it as a primary, I'd advise single shot all the time, and placed rounds as opposed to lots of shots. Besides, gas consumption and buying enough mags to last a day when you're using full auto is going to be a major drain on your pocket. Then again, I don't think I've used the fully automatic option on any gun for a good 4 years now.

Standard V3 spring guide, as long as it has a removable baseplate. The ICS offering wont do it. I went Systema, not sure if the CA is removable or not. As for grenade launchers. There's something in the manual about using them with a rifle grenade. Have you seen one with a grenade launcher, or do they just use rifle grenades in the field?

    WE M14 Gas Blowback Rifle

Love that video. Made me laugh too much, when you shot down the idea of an inserted mag fixing the problem. And on a more serious note, thanks for the demonstration of issues after 1000rds.

Those Israeli handguards are gorgeous. Think that would look pretty cool with a skeleton stock as well. Looking forward to the wood stock pictures.

Only thing with the PLA look, is this is the export version of the rifle. The type 95 that the Chinese use, has different mags and magwell. Still, looks ace, and very individual.

May not have been his fault. Without opening my GB, it stripped itself. Wether this be because the people at RS didn't put it together properly, I can't be sure. My theory though, was the shorter, tankish type spring, would me more at will to put strong sideways pressure on the spring guide. When I took my broken gun apart the spring guide had snapped, causing the piston to jam backwards, and lose all it's teeth.

I run mine with a silencer (97b). Not noticed any difference in accuracy to be honest. The sound is much nicer.

I felt the stock accuracy on the T97B was good enough not to bother changing the barrel. But I did wonder about that. The hop chamber seems very tight as it is. Has anyone tried changing the barrel out for a prommy (useually bigger in outer diameter than a normal AEG barrel), and experienced any problems? Or has anyone swaped it for any other make, and maby found it easier to reinstall into the chamber?

Mine was much the same. First game of use the spring guide broke. And the tank of a spring wasn't instilling me with alot of confidence. Swapped it out ASAP. On a Madbull M100 it fires at 345-350. I read somewhere (redwolf I think) about the sector gear being short one tooth on the B varient, but mine isn't. I wonder if that's something that was only included in the original run. Anyone else checked that sort of thing?

Try Hogue's German based site. Hogue US don't like delivering across the pond. Or possibly Midway UK.

    KJW M4

So does the WA m4. It's an adapted system from the Manga blowback pistols. Thing is, once you give the gun a nice heavy bolt to work with, a long barrel, and the demands of the people useing it, to have a kick more like a rifle and less like a GBB pistol, you're going to encounter problems. Increased power means increased stress. Besides that, to say it's the same as we see in pistols is frankly rude to the people who've spent ages getting these systems to a point where they work, and can be manufactured on a mass basis. They're similar principals, but at the same time, very different mechanisms. Not even mentioning full auto, and the use a rifle gets over that of a pistol.

The whole world disagrees with you. http://www.internetslang.com/CBA.asp Not even the unpopular ones on urban dictionary think you're right. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=CBA In case anyone was wondering how well the extractor fix works, it does wonders. My friend installed it on his m1100 revision. It was barely noticeable, and instantly started ejecting properly again.
