Had some time on my hands and access to a half-decent sewing machine today. I'm by no means a seamstress, but managed to cobble together a fairly decent camouflage hood.

Cato-Ringstad sizes are as follows: 38/40 N XX-Small 42/44 N X-Small 46/48 N Small 50/52 N Medium 54/56 N Large 58/60 N X-Large Physical measurements are written on the label inside the garments. The M98 uniforms are utter garbage - if you're going to buy anything, make it M2000 or something aftermarket from NFM. Throw me a PM if you're interested in a combat shirt in Norwegian desert camouflage.

And this is why it's so important to acquire all the stupid one wants while still single It's an Ops-Core FAST Ballistic with a bog standard Ops-Core VAS Shroud.

I figured that with the amount of monies I had all ready spent on this stupid stuff, I might as well spend a bit more to get a slightly more elegant storage solution than "throw it in a closet"

Picked up a TM MP7 GBB with mags at a bargain price a few weeks back.

Have been getting in quite a bit of stuff lately. Just need to mod the CPC with First Spear Tubes and acquire another AN/PVS-14, and I will pretty much be "done".

Yeah, sure, it's the "same as a 416 with a Geissele and long barrel realistically", except for the crucial part - just imagining a longer barrel on a HK416 does not tell me if the bayonet lug on the barrel of the M27 IAR will clear the handguard, or if there are any other clearance issues. Sadly, no. That's an MR556, and not an M27 IAR, but thanks anyway.

Thanks, that explains a lot. Still open for more input though. Had a go at a rough first pass with a sanding machine, then I had to go out to buy sanding paper and a new tip for my soldering iron, amongst a couple other doodads. Also picked up the new slide kit on my way home.

Parts for my Glock 17 build are starting to arrive, so does anyone have a good guide to prepping a Glock frame for stippling?

I've got the same *suitcasey* quality kind of soldering iron as well, but it has the front end of a flat-head screwdriver as a tip, so I've got to find something else to replace it with. Definitely going to have a go at stippling some rail covers before I start melting my pistol.

What kind of tip did you use for that stipple job? Just ordered a SAI slide kit and ALG Defense magwell for my 17, and it needs a nice stippling like yours.

I accidentally some long, white things. I also a fancy belt, and a funny hat, but it would seem the funny hat was out of stock, 'cause it was not in the box.
