  1. Hi cazboab, Will the Admin staff be changing this any time soon? To be honest with you, the "Click here to view by last post" was good, and now it's very frustrating because I have two options: 1. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and change the filter options 2. Beat the *suitcase* out of my keyboard in rage Could we please get that link working again? (I don't post often, but thats my one gripe!)
  2. Here's a thought, Seraphim. Perhaps some people choose optics for their weapons based on what works reliably for them. I think it's fair to say it's only airsofters who choose optics for their "weapons" based on what looks cool and what "is usually used". Thats an important difference between real steel and airsoft - and one of the reasons airsoft is ridiculed. It's cool that you know your weapon designations and all, but I was originally referring to taking an ARES G36, and replacing the dual optic with a C rail + T1. If it makes you feel better, there is actually a separate weapon designatio
  3. Yes, my source is Lightfighter.net, and in particular, Pat Rogers. Disclaimer: I don't shoot real steel, not am I Mil. or LE, but I'll pass on what I've read at Lightfighter. It might seem reasonable to say that a picture of a soldier with an Eo means they must be good to go, but the general feeling from the front line troops and Law Enforcement on LF is that a lot of troops use what they are issued, or what they can afford, or they simply don't know jack. Eo's are not keeping their zero, the optic fails to work at times, batteries drain outrageously quick, they just outright br
  4. There is a very good reason it's easier to find pictures of Aimpoints than Eotechs. The Eo's are s******* themselves across the board, and more and more users are ditching their Eotechs in favour of different RDS. A rather popular one right one is the new Aimpoint T1. Generally speaking, I think it's fair to say Eo's are no longer good to go.
  5. I think you might want to check your facts on that one. I've heard a couple of times now of 9mm rounds have more penetration than the 5.56. I'm not a ballistics expert myself though, so I don't understand. Maybe it's to do with the 5.56 round tumbling and the 9mm not?
  6. What size battery (Not lipo) can fit in the G36K RAS?
  7. newhotness - not to be rude, but dude, I'm sure you have dropped a whole lot of weight Good work mate! (yeah, off topic sorry)
  8. A write up of common problems and the known fixes (Ie, some tutorials on how to fix common problems) would be a really good idea. Would save there being so many questions and arguing in this thread.
  9. Can anybody tell me where I can find the black waist harnesses seen on all the PJ's?
  10. This might be kind of rude, but I am really hoping to get my hands on one of these WE M4's from JFJ. 3vi1-D4n - how much would you charge if I asked you to fine tune the gun when/if it arrives in New Zealand
  11. I hope you don't mind me using this for my new desktop picture
  12. The link above did not provide much help, apparently a KAC style replica RIS will fit, but a mod is required. I want to buy the KAC RIS from EbayBanned and install it on a WE, can anybody confirm that it will fit and if not, are there any mods which will allow it to?
  13. JFJ is about to do an order from WE, perhaps you would like to get magazines in that order? I've asked him to enquire about the steel bolt catches. If anything, ordering through JFJ should save you a bit of moolah
  14. Mightyjeebus - Might want to look at the amount of stuff on your vest dude. 5.56 cleaning kit seems a bit pointless, as does the NVG pouch (Obviously, ignore my comment if you actually own and use NVG's ) I think it would be good to quote basicload from Lightfighter at this point: If you can't scale a wall in your armour, then you've got too much stuff on it. I used to want to carry a tonne of STANAG magazines, but I've solved my mobility problems by setting a kit up around a very high velocity gun and a far lower mag-count. Makes things a lot easier.
  15. Sweet as, thanks UrPeaceKeeper Can't wait to get my hands on one of these things
