    Aluminium version...btw If you want a full steel Tiki at Prog4, you have to wait really long because they can not produce it now.

    Finally some one made this! :D

     

    So my guess is that you only need to change bolt, gasblock and front sight and youre done?

     

     

     

    I based mine off this picture:

    It looks like the same gas block to me, but if you're referring to the vented gas tube, it's there because I got the lower md. foregrip without a matching upper wood gas tube, and it seemed like a better option than mismatching wood. I'm not going to bother replacing the front sight, simply taking a Dremel to it to shape it. I'll have to chop down a ribbed receiver cover as well, as the Real Swords are made to spec length and are about .5in shorter than all other AS Ak's.

     

    As for the bolt itself, what would you recommend? I can't really see a difference.

    I can't claim the pun was intentional - in fact, I had to read my post a few times to actually see it! :)

     

    Thanks for clearing that up for me beta08. Closer to pushing the button on one of these, now that I know I can effectively get big battery oomph out of it.

     

    Funny, the first RS owner here in UT did exactly that, and ran w/it that way (9.6v/1300mAh in spine/7.2v in stock on T56) and played w/it every other weekend for probably 3 months, it had a ridiculous RoF, high 20's rpm at least.

    Did you test Star mags on a Kalash? thanks :)

     

    I worked in a local airsoft shop, and for testing purposes in AK's, we always used Star's mags. I know we worked on Kalash's, and don't remember there being any problem with the fit, and they star's feed flawlessly 95% of the time. [at least in my team and I's experience, which has been 100+ of their mags.]

    Does anyone have any idea which brand of mags fit in realswords? ive tried cyma dboyi and marui and none of them fit :(

     

    Any of the Star mags are awesome. The 105 rounders as well as the real caps work perfectly. They feed much better than RS's own mags in fact. :)

    I never understood Acog's on M14's. There's absolutely no cheek weld whatsoever, and the relief is terrible from that distance! :(

     

    Doesn't look too bad though I guess.

     

    and Cpt.Chaos, I came |---| <-that close to setting mine in the exact same configuration when the G&P stocks were released. :) Nice to see another M25-style flashhider, I think ours are the only 2 in the thread. :P

    Anyone know of a stock like the M25 Whitefeather that would fit a TM M14? It looks like a M700 stock with a cheek riser, but I haven't found much...

     

    It's sorta the same story as the JAE-100 stock, the angle of the motor inside the stock really prevents anyone from making a true replica of the Whitefeather stock. Really, the closest you can get is throwing a Karsten Cheek Rest on it for appearances.

    Crumpt, how did you attach the bipod? Thanks!

     

    there's a nut/bolt style bipod mount made by several companies, I know Guarder made one, VFC, as well as First Factory...
