O_O That pearl grip'd springfield is... is... =the king. exactly what I wanted for my pearly'd Ser. 70, but noooo.... metal kits had to disappear. That is pure pure pure sex.
-
Really? I was actually a bit disappointed with how plastic-y my silver Ser 70 felt. Very crisp blow back though. I've been on the hunt for a prime kit ever since... absolutely love silver 1911's.

Good news, I'll soon be able to post pictures of my G&P URX-based urban sniper, pending paintjob, so cross your fingers that I'll find the time to finish it this week! There's been a shortage of URX love in this thread as far as I'm concerned, so I'll be happy to provide it.

Wow... that MOE business is hot. Wow. If it'd fit, I'd probably throw a railed gas block on to replace the standard front sight, but that's minor... overall a beautiful gun.
-
While I'm not usually one for CA's, [bad experience] but I love the SBS... and that Acog looks pretty damn good. Mmmm. *want*

Nice looking wear for sure! Worn AK's make me all warm and fuzzy. I could post a few pics of a friend's beat-to-sh!t Guarder 74, but I'm going to wait till I can post my own of my RS 56-1... [after it's been dragged behind a truck for a good 10-15 minutes.. ]

Zmarre is that the WA MKIV Ser.70 magnatech? Looks like it, and I have one myself... Love the thing, but a word of caution, the silver finish on just about every part of the gun [e.g.-all the plastic parts] rubs off quite easily. Granted, I didn't think about it, and kept it in a rather snug drop-leg, but standard usage destroyed the paint in a disappointingly short time. *will post pictures soon* That's why I've been so frustrated with Boomarms, I've emailed them at least 3-4 times, still no response on whether their MkIV Ser.70 silver kit is still in stock.
-
man, that AIMS is sexeh. How're you liking it so far? Don't mean to derail, just curious how VFC's done on their newer pieces, my only experience has been the 74u. [love it though]

man, a scraped up desert paintjob on that thing would take it straight into [or out of] the middle east desert. two thumbs up!
-
Good looking gun for sure, but when will GWS or the likes bless us with one of these babies...
-
wow... I must say, as surprising as it is that 552 looks remarkably good with an M4-style stock... I mean, I guess since it works for the 556 and all, but yeah... really good.
-
how cuuuuute. With the concealed carry and everything! I hear good things about the detonics... I just can't for the life of me stand the full width sub-length grips.... it bugs the #### out of me. Anyone know if BoomArms actually has half of their listed stock of Prime kits actually left in stock??? I desperately need the MkIV Ser.70 silver kit... and they're the only place left that even has it listed as *possibly* in stock.

While the final product looks-wise makes me cringe a bit, it looks like great craftsmanship, so +1 for the fine work and +2 for originality! But by the looks of it, that Mcmillan M1 shouldn't be too hard right? Besides obtaining a conversion kit for mutilation of course... but I have to say, of the side-folding variants, that'd definitely be my pick.
-
My apologies for digressing slightly, [and nice grips Clockwork, I have the same pair. ] but above a few of you mentioned that boomarms still has a few of these kits, but over the past couple weeks I've inquired regarding two separate metal kits they show in stock, and they have yet to get back to me.... anyone else have trouble communicating with them or know a quicker route? -d*mn the internet and its series of tubes... always losing my emails.

Not having experience with the KSC myself, my information might not be as helpful, but with green my stock TM226 has one of the crispest blowbacks of any on the field. It's snappy with a generous kick, and it's one of the loudest stock pistols I've ever fired. In short... I<3it. :] ::edit:: and btw, I've put well over 100 mags through mine firing nothing but green [in Utah no less, generally in the 80-100 degrees range], and it's still shooting like the day I bought it w/no visible external/internal damage... so rest assured, it's a solid piece.

Like he said, if they're affordable... but if they're under 600usd, hell yeah. =]
-
hell yeah I did lol... I went through a can and a half of gas in two 1.5hr games. =P At one point, (I wish someone had gotten a picture of this) I found a group of rocks about 15ft below and outside of the highest point of the formation that happened to have a massive boulder to hide behind, two on either side, one two sit on, and one acting as a small "table". Six kills and about 9 pistol mags later, all the guns were on the rock, and I was trying to keep track of which mags left were loaded. It was the most fun I've had in months.

All following pictures are courtesy of Operation: Sudden Strike II, hosted by ColoradoMilSim... Just a few I picked up off the AAR of myself and a few of my fellow UT players that ventured 8 hours for this amazing arena. [And it was totally worth it ] To give a little background, it's a Afghan/Pakistan border simulation, with Bad Guys [Terrorists], Good Guys, [u.S. Forces], and more Good Guys [u.S. SF]. I'm a bit envious, as the multicam worked great in the rock pilings and dead grass that covers most of the AO, but hey, terrorist-ing is always fun. The AO's big enough t

Thank ya I have to say, your EBR's almost changed my mind about em... couldn't stand em at first, but I really like the desert paint on em... I like the two tone-ish thing w/the black accessories, the only thing I'd really contemplate painting would be the kac mount, just to make the rails match... but then, that really would make no sense unless you "broke a scope in the field and swapped it after painting" or something... but yeah, something about the rails, dunno.. just me. [And <3 the parts list, wish mine looked that nice.. =P]

Well, I've switched things up, so now to post the finished project. And sorry, I hate posting pictures from work, such a boring backdrop, but it's where I keep all my guns, and I only remember to photograph em there. =\ and in the last picture you see that the GB-Tech "M25" flashider perfectly covers a 650mm tightbore.
-
a little brown on that desert M14 and you've got yourself a BHD replica... aimpoint and all and I have to say... gotta love the Cadpat. I love sniping in wooded/tallgrass AO's with it.
-
Well, though mine's not nearly done, I figured I'd at least get the work in progress on here. I really like the last one for some reason. =P Yes, I know it's technically an M14 suppressor, but really... there aren't any other designated 7.62x51 suppressors available... so yeah. (and sorry I couldn't find a better backdrop, it's just sitting at the shop I work in, but I figured I'd snap a few while it was convenient.)
-
Cheng I absolutely love both rifles in that picture... your M14 stock is epic, if I'm assuming correctly and it's a home-done job, you should really post details, I'd love to do the same. and that 74u with the tishina is GORGEOUS. down to the RS Kobra and everything... that's the hopeful end result of my VFC, but I have to say... for all that amazing AK gorgeousness.... it looks like he's using a 7.62x39 mag.... but on to the pictures, sorry they're not better backgrounds, these were a few reference shots while I was deciding on whether to keep the GB-Tech "M25" style flash hide

I have yet to contribute to the weapons pics section, so i'm excited to throw these up after so long... =] WA Series70 MK IV w/Ajax Pearls. WA Bobbed Tail w/the same grips, checkin em out, but I think I like the stock wilsons better. (and sorry if these didn't resize properly.)

systema magnum. =] $80, but worth every penny.
