ktk_ace, best advice i can give on painting is to take EVERYTHING apart. I pulled everything off my recievers. Even the forward assist, selector switch and the little dummy indicator on the right side. Like CWB said, take your time, go slow. My AR took a good 6-8 coats depending on the part. Also, if your painting a plastic part use the Krylon Fusion Camo paints. It will work better than any other paint and it dries FAST. It also works realy well on the metal parts.

  3. Honestly, since when I use mine it's in a CBQ setting and I wear NIJ IIa full Kevlar and stand only 5'7" tall I usualy don't pull my stock out and run with it like a large frame pistol. I've seriosly considered taking the stock and milling it so that I'd have a mid point.

  4. Well maybe not that high, around 280 would be good for me. I wouldn't use it for very long range anyway, Just for clearing the sheds/ buildings at my field when my gas pistol is feeling the winter temperatures.

Why? Why would you need the extra 40 FPS? Do you think it would make any difference? Trust me, it won't. At the ranges the MP7 is suited to there is no chance of dodging the BBs anyways and it is easily felt. Where I use it we are actualy training with real world operators for CQB situations. We wear real gear (including kevlar in many cases) and I have had several people comment on how surprizingly hard it was impacting even tho they knew it only shot 240 fps.

  5. I have always wanted cone of these. If I have 200 bucks laying around I might just pick one up. How much money do I need to put in it to get the highest fps?

Seriosly, if you want higher FPS just get a different gun. The MP7 isn't designed to be used for engagements beyond 60 feet. For that application 240 is MORE than enough. If you try upgrading it you will just kill your battery in a matter of 3 or 4 standard mags or by the end of one high cap.

  6. I honestly don't know as it's always lasted me an entire day of use. Then again the most I've used it in one day is about 260 rounds.

Primussucks, if you get the correct holser all you have to do is push down on a thumb break to draw it. It's actualy all in the same motion you would normaly use to draw the weapon anyways. With your rig you have to go threw quite a bit to get too it. Not something I would want to do if I needed an "Oh ######" gun.

  7. OK, this isn't mine, but I'm helping with the rig for it.

    60mmmortar.jpg

60mm Mortar that fires shower shells and/or nerf turbo footballs. This was made by a friend for an OP in Oklahoma this month. The thing weighs about 80lbs or so including the Tube Frame Pack, Baseplate/A-frame Frame Pack, and the Ammo Bearers Pack. I'm currently finishing up replacing all the leather on the Tube Pack due to it being from WW2 and not exactly in the best condition (broke 3 separate straps) Also made a leather Muzzle cap for it.

:) we are kinda psycotic here in Kansas!

  9. Well, I got a call from our first customer to use one in a game today. He got the 8mm version and went to an indoor venue that just opened up. Not so sure they will allow this gun again. They allowed him to use it in a pistol only game, the first kid he shot from about 15 feet with it he hit in the head and kinda stunned the guy. Then another guy rounded the corner and he shot the guy in the chest at about 20 feet and knocked him down!

Everyone there was terrified of it, but at the same time they all want one now. :)

  10. What Blokhed said :)

I'm going to check on shipping to the UK and our site is going to be online any day now. www.bbairsoftonline.com I'm going to try and get them to set it up to order the shotty's online. We are not planning on doing an online store for a while, but I think it's worth it to put the shot guns up there. :) It'll help us get used to the online sales anyways.
