  1. They well may be suitable. Our first objective is to get the regular 30 round mags to market as they are in higher demand.

The reservoirs on our mags are larger than the KJW mags. I estimate theyll hold enough for 200-225 shots per fill at 70 deg F. Capacity is 50 rounds.

I also read they should drop in to a RS PMAG or STANAG magazine?

    What's the update on these magazines? :) :) :) :)

  2. Ill take a shot at answering your questions.

    ..

Thanks for the answers. Wow 150-225' range in STOCK form?

What are the results after using the Madbull barrel and hopup modifications?

What is the stock recoil similar to? I've fired a WA/WOC, as well as AR-15s and .22s

Where in the spectrum of recoil does it fit in?

    AEG--- .22 -------WOC ---------------------- AR-15

  3. ok, the UBR stock will fit, but ONLY on the existing stock tube, you can't use the buffer tube supplied, you may have to teflon tape it for a good fit, yes that noveske rail will work, I assume its the madbull?

And I happen to love AUGs too

Thanks for the speedy reply! Good to know, so I can save my favorite stock! :)

The link'd "Noveske" 10" was an ACM from t-tiger of ASF. Madbull clone I suspect.

If all goes well, my AUG will be my backup and only other weapon :)

  4. Specific range was not mentioned, How Ever I have set mine to 4 MOA @ 75yards / 68.58 meters (That would be consistent hits on an 8" circle at 75 yards) t_hum and I sighted the gun in at the warehouse at 50 yards and both he and I were hitting a door handle at 50 yards with ease. And that was with the stock KJW barrel before installing the Mad Bull tight bore.

I want THAT. Whats your part list? I am looking to buy a KJW now, I've researched WEs, WA/WOCs & AGMs.. I want a KJW now. :)

What was the FPS in that test setup?

What is the rate of fire (@ 400~FPS)? RS M4s are around 750-900 BB/min. The videos I have seen show the KJW needing several seconds to unload a magazine.

Does the KJW have standard TM/CA/etc receiver threads? I want to mount this. Will it work?

Will an ACM UBR stock fit (comes with its own buffer-tube)?

Has anyone been able to tune it for more recoil? After reliability and accuracy, I'm looking for realistic recoil. I realize airsoft GBBRs will have limitations, but does the velocity reducer from Cradle Airsoft serve as an NPAS? -- decreasing FPS but increasing recoil? If not, has anyone been able to increase the recoil without demolishing reliability?

  5. ....

    Thanks for the advice!

How many cycles do you estimate you've put it through in 5 months? Or how many rounds a weekend do you go thru?

To anyone who has owned both: Hows the AGM with upgrades compare to the KJW?

In your edit you mentioned getting an INO nozzle and bolt, is there a place where i could get ALL the steel items (the ones you mentioned) and the INO parts?

And the stock tube is plastic...? Will an ACM UBR stock tube (GBB version) fit the AGM lower?

  6. You would need to get steel internals, like a steel sear, hammer, selector, and pins, if you plan to use the steel bolt carrier, as it puts much more stress on the internals.

Trust me, I've learned it the hard way. :P

Thanks for the fast reply! Is there a cheaper alternative (of the same or similar quality) if I bought ACM parts?

I'd be running GG or Propane+silicone-oil

I read that Element and other Chinese manufacturers jumped in the game with RAtech... I read about $8 NPASs (hah no thanks!) and cheap boltstops so I'm hoping there are cheap alternatives to the trigger-group-parts.

I am trying to budget everything (AGM M4 with solid internals, good accuracy (2' grouping @ 150-200') and 5x ProWin mags for under $500 if possible)

I'd consider buying used too if anyone is selling parts or has buddies who are :P

  7. Forgive me, but I'd rather ask and risk being berated than sift through 105 pages of material. ;)

How have the AGMs held up over time? Say... 5-10k+ cycles? 20k? 30k?

What parts are wearing out or need immediate replacement?

I am looking at buying this. http://en.ratech.com.tw/product/rag/ra_cus...ustome_work.php

    Comes with:

    * RA-TECH M4 HopUp Chamber (Parity version)

    * NPAS kit

    * free shipping

    * extra gift : Inokatsu original steel complete bolt

What else would I need to get it reliable and accurate to 150-175feet ( ~2 foot groupings)?

    RAG-WA-bolt-007?

    RAG-WA-trigger set-001?

I read the inner barrel was actually decent enough for 150+foot range. Any other experiences to back this up?

Edit: And also, what is wrong with GasGuns.info's forums...? Off topic, but I am trying to research and can't get their forums up

  8. I don't hate the AUG. I think it's a beautiful rifle. I really like the design, the feel, everything apart from the mags. Someone asked about AUG mags. I gave an opinion, that hadn't been voiced up till that point. And for your knowledge, I'm not an M4 fan-boy either. They just never felt right to me. That's an entirely different point though, which I'll leave. I currently own an MP5, which I'm very happy with ergonomically, and a number of sniper rifles.

I'm not a fan of the AUG mags either, thats why I made a STANAG stock for it.

  9. Here's baby:

Yeap, that's a custom M4/AR-mag conversion. All done by hand and took forever!

I'll field it at an Op next weekend. Feels very solid. (paint is a primer-coat)

    Endgoal:

    aug_endpicture.jpg

Still have to overhaul the RIS/Receiver and barrel, I'll post updates later.

  10. Here's my baby although some people don't like her but she gets the job done ;) Only internal upgrades are Madbull Black python TB, PDC metal hop, H-hop rubber and Systema Bucking.

I do plan on Machining out the old fore grip bracket so that the launcher sits a bit further back.

How do you like the PNC metal hopup? I may grab one since my G&P's blue plastic adjustment lever broke. <_<

Dentrity-email-answering-guy told me "I think the G&P is made of quality than the PNC". Whats your take? Accuracy results are good?

  11. Goodness gracious, take this bull____ somewhere else.

The purpose of this thread is to show off your AUG, not whine, complain, bicker, or talk about conspiracy theories.

Either change the subject or get the hell out and make a new thread somewhere else.

  12. Interesting, I used the combination of AUG and Desert Eagle myself for quite a while, but I'm leaning more towards the USPs now. Partly because the OG and black colour scheme of my USPs complements my military AUG nicely... :)

USPs and Glocks look great when two-toned OD/Black.

    Eagles, not so much. :(

Maybe a Bushnell Holo for the Eagle will make it look cooler?

... hahah that would be hideous.

  13. What are you talking about? Because an armalite is "simple", you cant screw up? What does knowing anything about armalites have anything to do with making a typo? and what do you mean by 700 dollars? that clone rail is 59 dollars...its made in china

Its just a tiny typo, its not like a letter was misplaced or a word was misspelled, it was just a darn space that wasnt put into the phrase

Simple? The simplicity of the weapon has nothing to do with my point. I was refering to the overwhelming popularity of Armalite replicas as airsoft platforms. That popularity is one of the reasons this gun has hit the ground running so fast. A technology like this wouldnt be as popular if it were in a FAMAS or an AUG that doesnt have such wide-appeal.

Like I said, to me, that blemish takes away from the coolness of the gun (although still innovative). It's the details that seperate the high-dollar replicas from others.

This is still an amazing weapon and innovative.

That being said, one fluent English-speaking/reading person could have halted that mistake before the paint dried.. and why would they intentionally screw up a trademark? Just dont include it, or include an aftermarket KIT or stencil that allows the buyer to do it themselves with a can of white paint, bending any international trademark infringement.

  14. Ya they just forgot the space between or and die

How do you screw something that simple up for an ARMALITE replica?

How could you not employee a person that speaks English (or knows a damn thing about Armalite variants) to double-check a $700 airsoft replica's trades before they are mass-produced and released to the public..?

    Goodness gracious.

Awesome looking gun... but screwed up trademarks for $700..? What a crying shame...
