Going classic USMC style with this? Very cool. I'm building a USMC kit myself, with a small team of friends.

Too many nice guns in here... What's the go-to brand for a metal railed 1911 these days, at a reasonable price?

I meant length. I understood that it was a trend, but I was curious as to where it came from. I find it horrifyingly ugly, so the curiosity is real.

Question: What's the deal with gigantic rails and tiny outer barrels? It seems to be a very prevalent trend these days.

My first iteration of my first gun. Don't be too harsh. I bought some of it used, some of it is remnants from an old gun I never got to put to use. I have a few parts coming in, minor details, but it's mostly done. The plan is to get a new precision barrel to accomodate an SPR flash hider and silencer, and an M203+ACOG configuration. But I guess this will do for now, I haven't even had my first game yet (chairsofter by definition I guess...).

True, it's backward. I flipped it, kind of think it looks better. Well, it did look better, now I'm not so sure anymore. With all the accessories, it messed up the symmetry of the gun.

Suitcase experts, would you guys recommend cutting solid foam or "pick'n'pluck"-foam? I'm not quite sure what to do, and I want to safely store my guns.

Remind me to take som pictures when I dress up in a white suit, a panama hat and those two guns... ^^

Looks real nice. Classic-looking (type bolt action) has some form of charm about them. They're like a classic Mustang.

Yes, I was thinking of making them myself. Use some strong type of thread, use the rills in the magazine to prevent bulges and fasten it with gaffa. Seems like a safe bet if I can get a hold of the magazine when it's in the pouch.

Only problem is, that makes each magazine very expensive. Which kinda sucks. But thanks for the input, guys. I think I'll buy an extra VN mag when I order, and I'll see what I like the best, and take it from there. (Can't wait to order.)

Why do you have to change pouches to store VN mags? Are they that much smaller?

Nice Armalites here.. Can't wait to get an M4 myself. But I'm thinking about using short (VN-style) magazines instead of the regular type. What do you guys think looks best? I kinda like both.

Ok, I feel kinda puny now, but here goes. I drive a '98 Saab 900S 2.0i. And I like it.

I gotta say, you guys have done some great jobs on your SIGs. I'm a fan of the SG552 (will problaby be my first AEG) and the P226, both beautiful guns, and I think I fell in love with a few of your projects here. Awesome work. (I'll be sure to post when I receive my SG552)
