  1. Panoptes how bright is the torch and the build quality on that wee beasty?
  2. Hi folks one of you may be able to help me here. I've a TM G17 and have just put a PGC metal slide on it (shockingly a drop in fit, slide is a bit sticky with the mag out but with a mag in its smooth as butter) but since its 0.5mm thiner than the original TM one will it fit in a Blackhawk G17 Serpa or should I still get the 20/21 version? Don't know anyone with a glock serpa so can't try it out without buying one first. Chuck
  3. So it mounts the same way as the normal hand guard and RIS? I was expecting something more robust since they'll be 2kg of metal and plastic hanging off that screw. Cheers for the reply CKinnerley.
  4. That should be 'how' not 'who', not to mention 'bang on' vs 'bang' oops I blame all the coffee I had yesterday...
  5. Guys just wondering who does the AG SA80 UGL (or grenade launcher) mount on the Star/Ares L85A2? I've finally managed to find one and its currently winging its way to me and I can't find any info on it. Also where does the battery go (the UGL has to be removed to change it, right)? @ED-SKaR I've the Wii SUSAT from Ebaybanned too and I don't have to press my big *albatross* ESS turbofans against the rear of the sight to use it but because the scope sight so far back (vs on a M4) its not going to give you much room to have your head back. If you've slimmer goggles it should be perfect. It
  6. The bolt wasn't too hard to take apart. You have to remove the 3 small screws that hold in the black plastic 'guide rails' for the loading/gas nozzle thingy and remove the pin at the back of the bolt (this holds the spring that keeps the nozzle in the bolt). Watch out with this pin as one end is tapered, as in it'll only come out and go in one end first. Once this is done you can remove the nozzle. The nozzle itself is in two halves held together by a small pin in the middle of the nozzles body. Just pop this out and the original plastic valve and its spring drop out. Just replace the plastic
  7. I don't think anyone else has mentioned this yet but I got an RATech open bolt NPAS for my SACR. I have to say it was a piece of cake to install, now adjusting it while its install is another matter... Not sure where it stands with power reduction/adjustability, will have to check it properly over the weekend.
  8. Here you go faramon RA-tech open bolt mag kits, and only $3.80 ex-shipping. Not sure if any other shops are selling them yet but I guess they will in time. On a side note has anyone installed an NPAS in the open bolt system yet?

  10. You'll need new a follower and feed lips/gas seal rubber thing for your mags. The kit comes with one set and RA-Tech are selling extra ones (I'll get a link up in the morning as stupid iPhone isn't the best of teh interwebz), I think they are about $5 a pack, which isn't too bad I think. Only tried mine in the back garden and there does seem to be an even better kick than before. I haven't touched the hop setting (turned off at the mo) so I can't tell you how that works yet, at least it's a bit easier to use than the closed bolt version.
  11. If you mean the open bolt kit it's a piece if cake. Mine arrived this morning from from RA-tech. Its really simple to install, everything came pre assembled and just dropped into the receiver. The only 'work' that I had to do was knock the pin out of the gas block and unscrew some bolts. Converting the mags to the open bolt system is simple too, just replace the BB follower and feed lips/gas seal. Just to confirm the OB kit RA-tech are selling is the WE one without any upgrades, well that I can see anyway.
  12. So anyone get one of these yet, if so how's it working out so far?
  13. Mine arrived this morning from ebay. I have to say I'm very impressed with it, I got an XL (usually take a european L-XL depending on the sizing) and it fits beautifully. As was said somewhere else in this thread the collar can be a bit of a pain (big and bulky due to the size of the hood that's wedged in it). I'll be giving mine a shake down this weekend and will report back. The only problem I can see cropping up is that the jacket does seem a tad warm for anything more than a t-shirt (its about 10c here at the mo), but thats not a real issue anyway.
  14. waiyo you try the mini T's? How did it work out space wise? I've the RA-Tech lipo kit and was thinking about using mini T's too. Also when installing the lipo do you guys have the end of the lipo with the wires pointing towards the back or the front of the gun?
  15. Can anyone point me in the direction of a HK website that sells tight bore inner barrels for the MP7? The only ones I've seen in this thread have been in the US.
