What type did you put in??? - For WE/Marui (rubber looks a lot like the stock rubber) - For AEG - Hybrid (which states For use with RaTech barrel for WE open bolt which compatible with AEGs) (Source : AST shop) Can't find my way anymore... I loved to play with my M4 in cqb area's but the frustration of hop and inconcistenty made it a PITA to play with... I have one off the first SCAR (still with the FN trades and serial number) somewhere in it's original box never played with... I saw that WE made some MP5 and stuff too... Must dig a bit deeper and see if it would be worth it.... Thx for the info...

Cool thx DJ.... Rubber and barrel are AEG-compatible or special gbbr? I have 8 gas mag's and a couple of CO2, so I'll need some kit's lol (for the gas.. don't play on CO2) Does RA Tech still makes NPAS nozzle's? How is the quality on that? Or is there another method to adjust fps?

Hello, I've dropped out of the airsoft scene about three years ago (when the M4 was still closed chamber and the conversion set was promised). I'm picking up airsoft little by little now and found out that they released the conv. set (but it is hard to get my hands on). Owning three WE closed bolt M4's I need a lot of converting lol.... So my question's are : - which airsoft shop still carries the WE parts line? - where can I find mag conversion sets? - If I buy the conversion set, what modifications (inner barrel? hopup rubber?...) do I need to make (or is it drop in and play)? -

I have the impression that the G&D MAX3S suffers from more bad QC then the first batch... @ mightyjebus : in your opinion what's the best TW... A&K or G&D? And I mean more like which one is the easiest to work with... Want to venture in the whole TW-world but not like when I started with my WE close bolt M4... That shot straight an consistent after the 1k € mark...

Is there more information available concerning the OB kit. Apart from CWI (who only stocks the complete bolt) I can't find any shop who has them, not even taiwanese shops.... I find it curious that WE has made the kit available without even annouce it to us. They did know that every M4/16 was waiting for it... Again WE lets his costumers down...

Is the RATECH kit the same as the normal upgrade kit? Or does the Ratach one include their poor hopup and other upgrades?

So AWSS mags, converted to openbolt can still be used in the new system... And I suppose that only the parts circled in red are the ones that need to be changed?

Had the same problem with my AWSS M4. Chronoing at the beginning of the skirm with .2 give me the next results : 269 fps 371 fps 361 fps Replica taken aside by the organisation... (in Belgium there's a 350 fps rule with a 10 fps marge...) I thought that it was my NPAS was broken, but if you guys have the same problem with the "open bolt" G39 and M14, it could be a "problem" with the mags... Good to know that I can't fully fill my mags with gas... BTW I suppose that you all are using propane/green gas to get these results and that no NPAS system has been installed?

I've bought a Summit-version from Evike a few months ago and use it rather like an everyday vest... And I must say that it's pretty good... Gave it an extra rain protective coating and in the rainy Belgium weather nothing passes through. Like someone allready said, the hood makes the collar thick but it's still useful to have it on those rainy days. Surely because you can fully adjust the hood to fit your head well... I have a size Medium and I'm 1m80 and 76 kg. It fits nice and leaves some space to allow thicker clothing under it... I've always loved Condor gear (pouches and stuff) but n

Can you explain how exactly you installed the System 7 and KJW valves please?

I will... The only problem I still encounter is how to increase or decrease hop without the system resetting itself due to the recoil... I have several solutions but they are all theoraticly and it takes time (alot of time actually) test and adept the system further...

^^ do they have a forum or something? If they are real WE specialists, it would be nice for people in other country to contact them if they have questions or problems? Has anyone tried to contact WE about the broken receivers? Do they offer a solution?

I hope to have my mod ready for a new style of HOP UP that will take VSR rubbers and barrels. Hopefully it will increase the accuracy. A friend of mine is machining the parts and I hope to have an update within several weeks... For now I can only test it in my M4 but it will work in any replica that can use the brass chamber...

Until now there are only 3 "versions", the third being CO2 ready. All models currently sold are CO2 (unless the seller has some stock of first gen replicas). Co2 versions will work with GG mags and I think that depending of the weather you'll reach 450 fps very easily on CO2...

My SCAR just arrived with a hideous flashhider on it. For now it will stay in the box until I can finish my hop up project...

@ kojak : I've used several home-used glue's and the like to keep the white spacer in place but I've not found the right one. Have to find a much stronger one.

I've heard people owning a Marushin M500 (the original one) who modified it to take Co2.

Euh don't get me wrong, I have 5 GG mags that don't leak and never had... And maybe if I change the rubber Oring between the gasket and his lid, it would change something... Maybe I had to mention that my M4 is a gen 1 so the mag is a gen 1 aswell. I've noticed a great differnce between the "gen1" and the "gen2" mags. Same thing with my FIRST Co2 mag I bought, it's leaky as hell but my two new mag's are very nice with no leaks allthough I don't use them much. I think that when you buy a SCAR or M4 you'll get a second gen mag.

The SCAR mags are (almost) the same as the M4 mags. So I can tell you that before it was hit or miss. I bought "SCAR" mags for my WE M4, got the Oring out of the top and use them without problem or leaks (I've got 5 of them in the meanwhile) My original mag though is leaky as hell and even after extensive use of lithium grease, it keeps leaking... Great for spare parts though
