From the WE guy he said they took measurements of the lower receiver off the Systema PTW and the upper off a real AR...so i dont see how a real AR upper wont fit with a few "tweaks"

ya when the ATF gets involved it never means anything good. The reason why i want to buy one in taiwan while im here and ship it back is cuz its cheaper here + i know the WE guys here so i can ask them about stuff on the guns first hand

wow that was A LOT to read....anyways it seems like everyone has been slowly receiving their WE M4s since they ordered from airsoft buddy. I am currently in Taiwan right now and one of the store owners i talked to said that the ATF are paying close attention to WE M4 that are being brought back into the states. he states the reason is because of the close dimensions of the lower receiver that could possibly allow a drop in trigger module to fit from a RS AR. so all in all. has anyone recently ordered their WE M4 in the states from overseas have any problem with customs regarding WE M4's
