Haha, I knew you couldn't stay away from the XPS OPMOD. It's a really nice sight. I wanted the one with side buttons, but I can just see those getting pressed prematurely by gear or whatever. My VFC MK18 uses the same attachment method as my VFC SR635 as far as the buffer tube goes. Screws into the lower receiver itself and doesn't go anywhere near the gearbox. In fact, VFC gearboxes have a flat-head screw in the back of the gearbox to keep the spring guide aligned. I thought I would like the T-1 more than I do. I have one of the XPS OPMOD replicas coming in for it tomorrow instead. -Ex

The PayPal Dispute was canceled as I'm not going to risk sending it back to Hong Kong. So, I sold it via my normal channels. Nothing wrong with that. PayPal ruled "in my favor" by telling me to return the item with shipping cost being my responsibility. After it was shown as delivered, I would be refunded the transaction value minus the seller's initial shipping cost. Which means I would have been out about $35. There's no scam here. Well, aside from what ACMgear has done. Which is what this thread is about. Stay on topic, please. -Ex

Wrong. The Red+Green is very different from the Red Only. They also outright lied to me before I even placed an order. Sending the item back to a site that has already banned your IP address doesn't seem like a smart move to me, even with PayPal at your side. The Red Dot only resembles the real one a lot closer than the Red+Green. Well, more bad news for ACM Gear. I emailed them prior to ordering to make sure they sold the Red Dot only version of the Aimpoint T-1 replicas. My initial comment: "Hello, I am inquiring to find out which version T-1 you are selling. I am looking for the Red Dot ONLY version. In the picture you show the Red and Green Dot version but in the description says it is the Red Dot only version. Just making sure before I order. There is a reason stores like WGC don't offer any type of warranty, returns, or guarantees on their ACM/China Made products. It is always a gamble when ordering these parts, so I cannot fault ACMGear for the action they have taken. -Ex

Most of the time, VFC will sell parts to individuals. I've contacted them in the past for upper receivers and the likes. -Ex

This ban seems incredibly political to me. I've heard it means nothing to our troops who will continue to be using PMAGs for their durability and reliability. Seems to be a case of "Not Invented Here" and the government is getting all butt-hurt about it even though a faulty magazine could mean the life of a soldier.
