Would you mind giving a parts list?
  2. What is that rifle in the 3rd pic? The one with the S&B on it.
  3. I know the same question was posted at GGI, but I'll post the little I know here.

    AGM M4 GBB

Well, depends on your definition of good, but that's been discussed many times so why discuss it again.

Yeah, I think that's commonly referred to as the bolt or the nozzle. The bolt face would just be the front of that part. dykefish: The bolt catch problem may be a combination of both issues. You should probably find another mag to try it out on, one that you know has a working bolt lever, so you can narrow things down. The magazine I received with my WOC had a similar issue, although it works fine if I used the bolt catch manually, it never caught if I charged the bolt back on an empty mag and just let it go.

You might have to deal with some parts if you go with the WE.

On their site, look at RA-TECH Gas Series -> RAG WA series, and the first item is "Plastic Nozzle with tool adjust NPAS set (For INO, WA, G&P)." I would imagine that's the one you want. You can also contact the RA-Tech people directly via email or at the GGI forum. DarkLite: So is the AGM lighter than the G&P WOC in similar configuration? Point 2 would lead me to think so?

I believe it was the hop up and the nozzle/"bolt" (i.e., the front part of the bolt carrier group). You can check page 3 though, I think.

You shouldn't take a few people's comments as representative of the whole community. You can get good help there from good people, alot of whom also post at Arnies. If RA-Tech says no, then I have no idea. I mean, if the AGM is a 100% WA clone, then the NPAS-enable nozzle should fit right onto the bolt carrier. You could ask RA-Tech why not? Anak: Thanks for the update. Stronger recoil than the WOC maybe attributable to a heavier buffer or just lighter weight of the GBB itself (hence, more perceived "motion"). AFAIK there is only 1 "Gen" of WOC, don't know for sure, but up

Thanks for the report, good to hear it works. Do you have experience with the stock WAM4 or the G&P WOC, or was this the first time shooting a GBBR? I'm not sure if "solid" and "recoil is good" is relative to AEGs or to, say, a WAM4. The forward assist does do something: it pushes the carrier forward a little if it didn't seat all the way up. IDK about AGM. Too bad about the mag. Wonder if replacing seals will fix it. Well it's great to hear good things about this, particularly about the mags.
  11. I've heard a different carrier and nozzle. Maybe a metal nozzle? Who knows.
  12. .... on a firearm? If you're talking about the screws on the side, don't think that'd ever happen in airsoft. Remember, this is an airsoft forum, and people might get scared.
  13. This is on an Icom? F4 or similar? If so, where did you get this antenna?
  14. 18" is SPR. G&P makes a front end kit and packs the 18" barrel with a rail tube and a flashhider, but for some reason doesn't sell the barrel by itself. The only incompatibility between real steel, say, rail kits and the WOC is the front receiver thread. AFAIK, they are different. The WOC has a G&P thread, so all their kits fit. To fit a real barrel nut on their thread, you'd have to rethread it to the correct pitch (the diameter is correct), which can be done either by force-attaching the real barrel nut over the threads, or buying a threading die and doing something similar.
  15. Nope on pistol grip, it doesn't need a motor and AEG pistol grips are too wide. However, oft-cheaper real steel grips fit great. Nope on barrel, the hop ups are completely different in shape, but G&P makes tons of barrels for the WA at around the same price as AEG barrels (albeit, for some reason they don't sell the 18" by itself). And, nope on the receiver.
  16. I don't want to start argument, but it's not right to dismiss what freq88 said, since it is valid in some way of thinking: Suppose you start off at state 1, at P1, T1, V1. You goto some V2 = 3 V1 by some process. Only by assuming isothermal process (i.e., T1 = T2 = T), can you get P2(3V1) = NkT, P2 = (1/3)P1. You say that if you increase volume by factor of 3, you will decrease pressure by factor 1/3. This is true, only if the process by which you increased the volume is isothermal. Otherwise, your one equation of state (the ideal gas law) is not sufficient to solve for the final pressure
  17. Well I think consensus is a sphere would be ideal, but that's a hard shape to work with, which is why most if not all containers of pressurized gas is cylindrical. Would such shape help in consistent gas discharge? I know very little about this, so I have no idea. It shouldn't help with cooldown, as the pre-expansion temperature and pressure of the gas is the same regardless of the vessel you are using.
  18. I guess there is a reason why it is heavy. I'm not sure how the WE stores the gas: are there cylinders inside the magazine? Because a box shape is a poor pressure vessel (stress at edges). For realism nuts, the weight of the WA magazine is much closer to that of a loaded AR-15 magazine than, say, an AEG magazine. Of course, the weight empty of the WA magazine is pretty much the same as the loaded weight, which is not the case with AR-15 magazines. Sig552: Don't know, but I don't think this is the right thread.
  19. OGGY: Thanks for that. I'm not sure what you mean when you say step 3 will be the only different, but steps 7-15 are also different? BTW, the Prime lower looks great. EDIT: Nevermind, had a brain fart. Thanks for the link. To follow up on davedawg's question: I am considering this setup: G&P upper receiver, G&P barrel, real rail system (URX or DD RIS II). I realize that I will have to adjust the upper receiver thread. Apart from that, should I forsee any other problems with the installation? I.e., will the rail sit flush with the upper receiver? I have no problem shimmin
  20. I believe the stock G&P receiver is too short. Since I'm posting anyway, does anyone know where I can find: 1.) BCG disassembly guide 2.) Lower receiver disassembly guide (1.) I'm just curious and will probably need it for future maintenance, and (2.) I would like to install ambi controls.
