  1. As already mentioned, it looks like a copy of the RA-Tech. That said, I'm never ordering from EBB again. I ordered one of those AABB nozzles from them, after a month and no word from them I sent an email. They responded that it was out of stock, so I asked where my refund or notification was. I get the response "I think we will refund to you soon". Ten days later and I'm still out the $13.50 that I really should've spent on a box of .223
  2. Some can be good, you just need to do your research... I thought I remembered people with problems using the 5KU sear from months back? Then again, we might all have saved even more cash by just going the KJW route
  3. I ordered one of the new AABB's the other day, we'll see how it turns out..
  4. Pot metal (I'm assuming you weren't using a steel catch?) isn't exactly the strongest thing around and has a tendency to break after a while
  5. @CKinnerley & Luis21, thanks! I see what's going on there Next time I get up the balls to un-epoxy my barrel, I'll stick that bugger in there. It seems usable for now, hopefully for the next big tear down I'll be replacing the upper receiver and barrel as well
  6. Thanks, that's really appreciated I got the thing assembled and in my gun minus the tiny set screw provided (which I assumed was to provide adjustment), as it didn't fit in what I figured to be the spot for adjustment.. It looks like its telling you to adjust the hopup via a notch in the feed ramp, is this correct?
  7. So after 6 months of ownership, I've decided that I'm now man enough to break the epoxy bond that I used to eliminate barrel wobble so I could install one of the fancy rear adjust hopups that Luis21 likes so much. Only problem is that I haven't a clue on how to assemble this silly hopup: http://www.rsov.com/index.php?target=produ...product_id=3936 I also got two of the big springs from them, one having a good amount less resistance than the other. Any ideas on how to put this all together? EDIT: Wow, I should've read all the posts since I last came before I just run and post a
  8. I have a G&P RIS II and it's easy to take off the bottom, but getting it back on is an absolite fruitcage
  9. Mostly negative reviews on them.. They apparently crack very quickly, AGM nozzles seem to be largely preferred over the Elements
  10. Yeah, it doesn't need all the fancy work.. I've shot a good number of rounds through my 061. Only problems I've had were a wobbly barrel (fixed by cleaning up the mating faces + epoxy), loose castle nut (loc-tite), and a funky hopup (tape around the barrel + a replacement for the plastic one that a misfed bb was able to crack.. With those parts/fixes, it's costed about $25 for me to keep this running since early June.. That seems pretty good to me considering by now I would've gotten bored with an AEG, opened a gearbox, and ended up rebuilding it out of lack of better things to do
  11. at the very least it's nice that most of the parts *should* work reasonably well together since it's one company making them..
  12. I swear it's fun, not a bit of a money hole. .223 magazines are cheaper than good GBBR mags That receiver looks tempting.... I may take a chance on it even if it just ends up as a $90 parts bin
  13. Aye, the breakdown and parts are frighteningly similar to RS.. except that bit about the AGM receiver's rail height being a match for AEG's
  14. While the picture isn't perfect, it looks like it's tightest spot is where the 'sprocket' comes towards the center of the bolt.. You might be able to trim off a bit of the corner towards the middle... I don't think that weakening only one part of the feed ramp will cause strength issues, but you can probably take some off the bolt-side face as well so they never make contact
  15. oh man, I really like the construction of that nozzle... probably won't be cracking anytime soon
