  1. Just about to do this, did it all go together ok?
  2. My raped G36c... JG base - The newer versions have a much nicer finish, handy because they cost peanuts. ACM rail system ACM T1 ACM mag adaptor (Purely because AR mags are so much easier to get along with, pouch wise) ACM SF556 flash hider MS2 sling clone CA KAC filp up irons Clone Magpull bits

  4. I've had luck with a few of their AEGs when that's all you could buy from Airsoft Dynamics, Rebel Troop etc, but I've recently had a few bits and pieces from TM that have left me underwhelmed. I'll stick with the Chinese clones from now on I think. I had a go with another players 870 Breacher and loved the 6 shot (which performed flawlessly) on a whole they seem more reliable than the Tacticals going purely on internet reading. Maybe they ironed out some bugs in the internals of the Breachers, perhaps different spring strengths, slight reinforcement to certain parts? If they sold it as
  5. Thanks for your help guys, I thought this was the case. After much arguing - them saying it was my fault because the barrels were dirty, the wrong brand and weight of BBs were used, and even the type of gas used was mentioned at one point.... I directed them to this thread (and 3 others along the same lines) & reminded them of their own sales policy and managed to get a refund of the gun minus a "restocking fee" (load of *suitcase*). They still maintain it was my fault for not cleaning the barrels on delivery of both M870s and that I'm the only person they've encountered that's had issues
  6. Thanks, appears Airsoft World is trying to pull a fast one. Second 870 tactical they've sent to me with the 6 shot not functioning and after telling me only certain brands of BB work properly (and nothing heavier than 0.2g) they are now saying its because the barrels were dirty..... I smell BS and a Paypal claim coming up...
  7. Anyone had any experience in the cleanliness of the barrels causing 6-shot not to function?
  8. Don't get me wrong I would love the gun if it worked correctly, it's far higher quality externally than the old tri-shots. It just strikes me as a cop out that reliability issues from a ~12-13 year old design have been carried over into this one, and for the price I expected these issues to be ironed out especially for Marui. If (when) it gets sorted I can see it being an awesome gun, at the minute though I'm disappointed with my £280 tri-shot... In the process of repairing the nozzles on my TM M3 using this guide I remember seeing many many years ago (What happened to inferno anyway?).
  9. Indeed, I've had a quick scan through and I have a feeling this is going to be a money pit. Should have stuck to my tri-shot TM M3 (which has a broken nozzle, glad to see they did nothing about that issue...) I'm tempted by the angry gun stock kit but damn it's expensive. I was hoping something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQHgLvX4Yx8 could be done to the Tactical, bypassing gas tank and going straight into the gun. Marui products used to be unbeatable out the box performers. You could take it out and know it would just work for years and years, they dropped the b
  10. My 870 Tactical turned up today and I instantly fell in love....until I fired it in 6 shot mode and it would only fire 3 shots... The email to Airsoftworld tech support has already been sent. Sigh. That's 3 Marui products I own that have turned up more or less DOA. Also, looking at the disassembly guides it looks somewhat possible to hardwire it to a HPA line, cutting the bulging mags out of the equation. Has anyone tried this yet?
  11. Received these as bog standard Mk1's about a week ago and gave one an old(ish) school Vietnam inspired look, and the other got an SRT arms Mk3 government model inspired look. Both up for sale shortly as I completely overspent this month...Sigh
  12. In fairness (for me at least) cutting down and integrating flip up irons to a standard rail would have been a better idea than blowing $100 on the CA rail. The rails on mine are to narrow to add anything without shimming the mount and its not *that* much lower. It IS the only one I've seen on the field and always gets commented about though!
