  1. what i dont understand from that last picure is this:

theres no worries about the G36 being a K, and as we all know the G36K has 4 vents either side on the foregrip, and as far as im aware the only bipod foregrip made is a 6 vent per side length, so how did he get that bipod foregrip with 4 vents? unless ofcourse it was a chopshop job ofcourse...

if someone could tell me this it would put an end to the years of "what the *fruitcage* is going on there" thas been happening since ive seen this pic

i miss my old K, i had the Star Dual Optic carry handle on there, true it was an absolute *fruitcager* to use but boy did it look good lol.

  2. reason why i think im going to go for the HPC rather than a RAV is most pics ive seen of PJ's they're using a HPC, plus its nice and small as i think the RAV are a similar size to CIRAS. well, not much longer now and i should hopefully have a picture of the basic kit (using a ciras) as im going to be skirmishing it the weekend after next.

  3. yea ive got the X800's on my IBH and they work like a dream with that, i think im going to have to put a strap retainer on the protec because they seem to fall off with the tri-point mount on the front. its a shame that CIRAS vests dont look very good as a PJ vest because they're so bulky, but i think im going to order the Pantac copy of the Paraclete HPC which will look good :D and then i think the Pantac medic backpack copy will finish it off.

  4. right, got my OD flight suit today, also getting an M14 EBR soon... along with my protec im almost done with my PJ inspired look, just need one of those small plate carriers and a backpack :D although i think my protec is a bit lacking as its just mat black with a tri-point mount, any ideas on cheap and simple ways to spruce it up a tad?

  5. nice one cheers for the info. yea im about 5'8 too so it should fit alright. my Pantac ciras is a PITA to get the sides fitted right so i have to resort to the buddy system too lol. ive only ever owned Bulle BDU's but my friend has the Bulle CIRAS and it seems to be pretty good quality. i just wondered if it was all good as proud are pretty good from what ive heard but their small plate carrier HPC is aparently poor in quality.

  6. thats a pretty nice FSBE, is the build as good as the other Bulle stuff? ive been thinking of getting one 'cause my pantac CIRAS is a bit too big for me. what do they adjust like? also, what backpack it that? ive been looking for one but cant seem to find anything similar, does it attach by molle?

  7. STL, ive seen quite a few jobs which are done with scrim net, maybe thats worth checking out? i cant see any idea why fishnet wouldnt work, i suppose its all down to the pattern of the net.

Skoda, nice IBH, i like the X800s (i use them too). how well do the straps adjust? i imagine you could also use the original fixings to attach the strap.

Newhotness, as much as i like the idea of mesh goggles, and as strong as yours may be, why would they ban polycarbonate or whatever goggles? the guarder shooting glasses have been tested by shooting the lense with a shotgun... now if it can withstand that im pretty sure it'll withstand a plastic 0.25. and its not just guarder that test their glasses this way as im sure you know. im not trying to tell you what to do, or not to use mesh, but just be careful, as Edmiles said, you only get one pair of eyes lol.

  8. i like the matching multicam name tapes, but i think the IBH looks too shiney - sorry to rain on your parrade lol. but other than the shine it looks good, as for IBH suspention, ive not a clue, ive got the SWAT IBH as previosuly mentioned and i want to add a MICH suspention and pad system to mine cause the SWAT ones are... well... the helmet was $33 so its cheap. the shells ok but the rest needs replacing. ive already replaced the Wilcox tri-point NVG with a toy soldier one, but the straps and pads really do need a change. im using a Viper 3 point PASGT suspention at the moment. try googling for baying hound, i think they have a pretty good priced MICH pad/strap combo.

EDIT: ok, maybe its the flash making the helmet look shiney. got any pics in good lighting?

EDIT 2: ive grabbed the link to the baying hound stuff... baying hound ACH upgrade

  9. cheers for the info grim :D once again, awesome looking loadout. ive been thinking of doing a vehicle crewman look because my friend is serving with the armoured corps and might be going out in a few months so he will be able to give me all the tips i need on getting it looking right :D plus ive always liked the look of the ugly shortened SA80 lol

    Grim

    nice pics there grim.

not too fond of the usual DPM but ive been wanting to do a dessert kit one for awhile now. is the osprey really as bad as ive heard it is? and what are those new gloves like? i saw a pair in my local surlpus but they didnt look like much. and yet one more question, is that an Ai CBL your wearing too?

  11. just a quick link for those in the UK, flecktarn.co.uk have genuine M84 pattern BDU's and a few tactical products although they come at quite a price. they also have repro but its not very good looking.

well done cougar for the awesome danish loadout. i notice your from sweden, and swedish M90 (i think) pics?

  12. just a quick shout but ive got the red x on that picture too, which is also unusual for me. as for the rest of the lids they're looking awesome.

just a quick update on mine, i went to my local surplus shop and got some newer Peltor ear defenders (slimmer with the curve to fit it under a british helmet). i would buy a set of sordins or something, but i cant afford them yet lol.

  13. i dont know much about it, but dont TACP wear the ABU (the tigerstripish ACU, i think its called ABU)? and another thing, i thought IBH's were a SEALs helmet, and Protecs are Seals/PJ... not TACP? but hey, as far as ACU goes it looks good, also kinda artsy with the orange smoke there.

  14. thats a pretty funky G36 he has (with regards to the paintjob) but wouldnt it come more under a DMR than the usual 'sniper' rifle? i suppose the same could be said about the SR25 and the M14/M21 but ive never heard/seen anyone using a G36 in that role especially because the optics dont really have much of an umph.

especially liking the pic of the USAF. dont suppose anyone has the pic or the link to the guy with the M14 that has some ducktape on it and hes sitting cross-legged on some sand, cant remember what i searched for it, but i think it was under USMC marksman or something...

    awesome pics :D

  15. i would sell it if i was UKARA, its the only AEG ive got and i cant be bothered to get UKARA reg with it (i thought id try support but its not my thing, plus im lazy and cant be bothered to carry the 6'n'a something kg it comes to) so im waiting till im living in london when the weather should be nicer. its got quite a few GB-Tech parts so its a tad better than just a standard Top :D anyways back on topic, cheers for the comment, should be getting a flight suit soon so hopefully ill look the dogs when im all OD'ed up.

  16. sorry but KSK using Accuarcy Aw 300!!!!!! Psg 1 is used by BGS =bundesgrenzschutz Msg 90 not for germany!!!!!!

my bad, the pic on HKPro is a GSG9 operator using the PSG1... i thought that they had some MSG90 pics but they dont, well not of KSK or anyone...
