I seriously doubt in these parts all being alluminum. I have several internal GP parts and they are made of something steel like, definitely not alu. Some parts may indeed be made from alu (buffer, firing block, etc.).

Try to see if your side lock plate is busted. If indeed it is there is nothing to initially pull the nozle back into the BC no mater the spring strength. If you are using alu nozzle this indeed could be your problem.

RA Tech sells Alu and steel side lock plates. 10 and 15 $ a piece. You cannot replicate the action of the BCG by manually cocking it. That is because the charging handle is designed to pull back the nozzle along with the bolt carrier. Try taking it out of the body...you will get it. Is cocking it difficult when the magazine is in?

If it cycles normal when manually cocking it while the magazine isn't in, then your obvious solution is to shawe of some materila from the mag catch so it sits a bit lower. Using alu nozzle you will very quickly brake your side lock plate no mater what if it's plastic.

I haven't met a plastic nozzle that endured the torture of more than 1000 shots. In fact some of them gave out on me within 100 rnds. I now moved to ACM alu nozzle and the thing is very well made. Nozzle tip slices trough jammed bb-s like they are nothing - plastic tips break on such occasions. The problem you get when using alu nozzle is that your side lock plate gives out within 50 rnds if it is plastic. There is a steel or alu one that can be obtained trough RA-Tech. Try with other brand of bbs first before doing any modding to the hop unit placement.

Try using .25 g bbs, you may get much better results with little or no jamming. I know this is pretty dificult if you are using stock hop setup because the hop is only sufficient for maximum .25 g bb, but if you upgrade it a little (DIY upgrades + new bucking) you can go with .25 to even .40 g bbs.

Try using a different kind of bbs. People had this issue with several kinds of bbs. I'm using xtreme, madbull and g&G bbs. 1 in 1000 jams like that.

PTS series stocks fit very well on AGM. I personally have a PTS MOE stock, and the wobble is minimal. If you go with a CTR, expect an even smaller wobble.

Didn't have a setup that in, normal +12 C, didn't give me one full mag of bb's out of it in one fill. Which gas you use is critical. AGM nozzle - in my opinion pretty good one. Two out of three are holding up very well. Default they are setup for NPS - this is a good thing. One that broke on me is a bit more white than the other two (like the stock nozzle that broke almost instantly). So, if it's a more yellowish plastic, it's probably good. Do it easy, single fire modification where you rely on your hammer lock it won't go full auto: Did it in a short time...works like a charm but i have to fine polish the edges.

@snorkel I know It still has an auto option but it's not capable of auto firing with the moded carrier. I just like to have an option of really quick change between an full auto replica, and a DMR single shot one - legally speaking. It could be a little hassle if you leave it in auto and it locks up after the first shot, but that's why you have your thumb for.

Is that a PPS set nozzle? The flout valve sticks a bit out of the nozzle so I would guess it is. They clearly used element specs for nozzle setup. Once again I was amazed by WA platform. You can easily go from full auto 400 fps to 500 fps semi auto only in just one easy swap of the bolt carrier...no messing with firing group. I just dremeled the part of the BCG that strikes the hammer lock and thus disabling the full auto feature. A+ for that.
