  1. Well the matte box is an older one from a 60s camera.. The viewfinder is from a digibeta camera.. the main bits are aluminium (with paint coming off ).. Going to be transformed again for GH2 use This way I can actually use it to make video's without trouble.. Hope the GH2 is pretty nice as photo camera as well..
  2. Sold my 550D yesterday and got a GH2 instead Now I have to get new adapters for my old lenses.. This was my 550D with Vivitar 28-105 f/2.8-3.8 (Made by Cosina, best version made for Vivitar)
  3. Something a bit older... Got these in today: 6B3T-M-01 (1986) and 6B5-15 (1988): Now I have these: 6B2 (1982) and 6B3T-M-01 (1986) 6B4-01-P (1988) and 6B5-15 (1988)
  4. On this new format when you visit a sub forum you don't immediatly see a list of the pages of a thread like you used to. Now you have to hover your cursor over the thread name for it to appear, this used to be permanently visible None of the page lists visible now: Hover over a topic bar and they become visible:
  5. Camera rig.. to carry a DSLR (which can do HD video) in a more comfortable (and stable) way
  6. AKG C460/CK8 microphone HDMI converter (not pictured) Sony Digibeta viewfinder
  7. Reply is a bit late but still.. It's just beat up, the handguards were fairly newish Soviet ones at one point.. Now they're a bit more worn due to handling and the dust of the War & Peace Show. (Carrying it around in a BMP works as well.. though it did break the stock catch as you can see)
  8. It is true for airsoft as well, Though I'm unsure about the first conversion kit models.. Anything can be modded offcourse, you can make a retainer or something to fit in the real one so it holds the lower properly.
  9. Uppers are the same, lowers are not. Due to the RPK barrel being larger and the handguard retainer being larger as well.
  10. Quick picture of my latest purchase, which will be my standard lens for my 550D: Vivitar Series 1 28-105mm f./2.8-3.8
  11. Panasonic AJ-D700, for general fun and some practice..
  12. Original Soviet made military PSO-1 from 1973, which spent the last 10 years or so in water..
  13. Mine.. not that amazing but meh =)
  14. Attachment for Sony shoulder camera's, rod support and bellow which can hold 2 4x4 filters. mmm ebay.. love it
  15. It's about 9kg I think. I'm missing a couple of plates so don't know the exact full weight. It is noticably heavier in the front though. Not much flapping around if you secure it properly and adjust it to your size. They probably figured ceramic in front and back would be too heavy and did this to still offer some protection. Besides, the only way you should move is toward the enemy Just kidding. The rear shouldn't really be considered to be bulletproof, it's more for protection against shrapnel. It's doable to skirmish in it, though mid summer it's not that handy.
  16. Rear, overlapping titanium plates with kevlar. Front, overlapping ceramic plates with kevlar. Vest is from 1987 btw, so it wasn't Russian yet, it was still Soviet
  17. 6B2: 6B4: Also got pics of the plate arrangments on the 6B4 if anyone is interested.
  18. One daysight (with tritium though) and one nightsight.
  19. Nop.. mostly because only Romanians, Chinese (low numbers though) and the Polish made production metal 5.45 mags.. the rest used polymer or bakelite..
  20. 2 Chicom chest rigs, shipped out from Bagram, Afghanistan
