I bought my extra upper from a local dealer here in the Philippines. But I bought other parts directly from KJW taiwan and had it ship here in Philippines with no problem. I can switch from MK18 setup for CQB and Sniper setup by just popping out two pins in a matter of seconds. And yes, HUT is right, they dont ship uppers to US.

Yes, I modified an AEG Prometheus 6.03 510mm barrel, its easy. You can go 650mm length if you want the barrel shrouded with the supressor. But I cannot comment what will be the performance on that 650mm length though.

SR25 look? Here is mine, I used parts from my G&G SR25, bought an new extra upper reciever, installed them together and here is my KJW Gbbr: (please ignore the 20 round live mag, just for show wishing the weapon is real)

Finally got my Hephaestus Type 2 Charging Handle: The packaging All Steel including the latch. (magnet test) Installed: What I noticed so far: 1. It fits just right in my old upper reciever, but its very tight in my other new upper reciever. I haven't done any further testing yet, hehhee

Right, depends on how much gas is released. I heard from someone locally that the gas released by stock KJW M4 GBBr is just enough for the stock short barrel that came with it. So I am yet to test for myself with longer barrel tomorrow, lets see. But i can only have a concrete result when I borrow my friends chrono... maybe over the weekend. I'll keep you guys posted. I had the same experience with my gas m700 before (see my avatar)

@ Shabby. the inner barrel is modified AEG Prometheus 6.03mm diameter/ 510mm lenght barrel. I am yet to test it hehehe, There are many things to consider to make this a performer sniper rifle... from the quality of inner barrel mod to increasing the power source to compensate the lenght of the barrel. It can be done by either using more powerful gas or stronger hammer spring. Hope this performs well, if all efforts are exhuasted and does not perform the way I want it, this project will be scratched. Let's see. =)

Glad my tutorial helped you =) Nice work on the teflon ring. Even here in my area, that washer is hard to find, I just found mine lying around the house. For those who cannot find a washer, they can just sand down the inner buffer tube, 1mm is good enough .

Good info weekeny in the magic pins. That will help. For the play between Upper and Lower, I put thin plastic strip between the L and U reciever. No play whatsover.

@delarosa, Usually I do not post If I don't know the answer to prevent over flooding and let someone who really knows the answer take care of it. But I felt responsible in replying to your question because it was directed to me. I do not know if RATech magic pin will do the trick, I have not owned or used one. From what I read somewhere, the purpose of it is to prevent gaps or play between upper and lower reciever. But it does make sense that it will help minimize the tension in the back part by tightening the pin in the front part of the receiver. Let someone who owned and tested

This is not the most good looking fix but this will allow you to use your gun again until you finally made your decision to buy new lower reciever. ZIP Tie is your friend Just zip tie the upper and lower reciever together.

Hi Landa, The epoxy mod will not prevent that problem but will delay the wear. It makes the contact between the bolt catch and the bolt in maximum efficient contact, thus making its life longer. But I think the contact point in the V2 bolt will give in eventually, because of its bad design in that contact point. Same bad design like in WA system. Only if the V2 bolt is made up of hardened steel... maybe it would have made a big difference. Looking at the picture you posted, I think you need to add more expoxy, it needs more height higher than the old tab. The wear in your bolt contac

Hmmm, I compared the picture of Stag Arms fire selector againts my KJW fire selector. The dimples and the cuts are different. I wonder if he meant drop in or he modified it to fit.
