    Airsoft Shopping in Hong Kong

Many thanks mate - greatly appreciated. I've given Guns n Guys a wide berth for a a few years because of their snotty attitude but Tokyo Model are a good bunch of blokes. I'm avoiding travelling to HK until well after the after Golden Week (trying my best to avoid the Mainland hordes ), so hopefully the TM version will have landed... Cheers

Thanks a lot mate - I'm hearing there's a bit of an MP7 drought in HK, though. Kevin from Toy Soldier suggested Den Trinity on the off chance and Ming from Spartan Airsoft said he hasn't seen any for a while...

Any HK-based lads have any idea if Den Trinity, or anywhere else in HK for that matter, have GBB MP7s in stock..? Cheers

No affiliation, but good service deserves getting the word out... Shootercbgear now have a shop in the "gun street" area. Have to say that Ben's service is great. I asked for HKD prices on some Flyye gear and he got back to me straight away. I told him when I'd be in HK and he said he'd keep the stuff for me. Given my past customer service experience in the area, I thought "Yeah, right..." But fair play to Ben, though, I walked into the shop, asked for him, told him who I was and he pulled out a bag with my gear from behind the counter. And there was no "Well, actually the price is higher than what I told you in my e-mail" nonsense. Top bloke. I haven't ordered online from him, but if you find yourself in HK, he's worth getting touch beforehand. Also, a thumbs up for Jeff at Royal Tiger. I wanted some Pantac gear from him but he doesn't have a store. I arranged to meet him at an MTR station (HK subway) and he turned up bang on time with my bits. Can't say if he'd be up for doing that on a regular basis, but he's clearly willing to go out of his way. And while I'm on a roll, Tokyo Model are always decent any time I'm in their store... Again, no affiliation to any retailer - just trying share positive experiences with fellow PD enthusiasts...

Can anyone HK-based suggest a store other than Red Wolf where I can pick up a Pantac HPC? Cheers

I did my WE GBB shopping in Armed Forces and in my opinion they had a good selection of items. At least I got what I needed. Cheers

The 3rd's a Saturday, so Mongkok should be the heaving bustle it is as usual. BTW, Yau Ma Tei is a better MTR stop than Mogkok for Gun Street...

Not the supertightgayspandex look - I've seen those tops on Gun Street for HK$90. It's this one: Anyone with the UKSF bug is going to want to get a set...

Bought a pair of Puxing 777s from 409shop via their website. Great service and superfast delivery: I know I'm only down the road, but they were delivered to my door less than 24 hours after being sent. Very pleased with the radios. I can highly recommend 409shop and the radios. Tangman - cheers for the heads-up on Adventurer Military Outdoor Equipment. Haven't met Ben but Yeung & Carlo(?) were very helpful. Anyone interested in PCUs should check them out - they have full sets of the replica (Ebaybanned / 4 Star?) for HK$498, which is about US$63. The guy at Moscow has Flyye gear at very good prices: sturdier than the Pantac gear I've got, in my opinion. Eagle Industries gear in Supreme Co seemed pretty reasonably priced, but I'm not really in-the-know with what you should be paying. Supreme also have the 5.11 Rush 24 packs for HK$429 - a very good pack for EDC, but only in that orangey-looking CB that 5.11 do... Anyone know who carries the Cavalvy Bowman headsets around Gun Street..? Cheers

Quoted from MooCow: you can easilly get a radio for 300ish HKD... but if you're looking for moto specifically they can go over 1k hkd easilly dependant on your needs http://www.409shop.com/ Address: NO.39-40,G/F, Wonder Building, No.161-175 Fook Wa Street, Sham shui po, Kowloon., I'm on the hunt for a pair of Puxing 777s or 888s. Can anyone in HK suggest what I should be paying or alternatives to 409 Shop? Cheers for any help.

There's only 2 that I know of - Target and Castle: Target's the better of the 2 IMHO. HK is much cheaper and more to choose from. As I understand it, the Macao shops buy all their stuff from HK, anyway... There's also the IPSCGM.COM store and he sells some real steel bits n bobs (mostly Magpul and a bit of LaRue), 5.11 & Blackhawk gear but no AEGs: he seems to do a bit of custom work on AEGs but he said he couldn't get a license to sell AEGs. Forgot to mention there's a store called S.W.A.T. on the way up to the Ruins of St. Paul's that also sells reasonably-priced 5.11 gear, Propper BDUs/ACUs, as well as some China copy uniforms. She also carries gas for GBB guns and maybe BBs.

I'm a Brit based in Macau and this is priceless for me - cheers for effort FC. Is MC also known as Moscow? Got some well-priced DPM stuff from him and he seems a decent bloke - I don't know how he knows where everything is given how piled-up all is stuff is... His pricing is also very competitive compared to the surplus stores on Dundas St. I've found Armed Forces to be OK as a gwailo - no fuss and the young lad always dressed in black is always happy to help and answer questions. CA I've found to be friendliest, except for the girl in there. Generally business-like and not a lot of time for you in most of the other places I've been in. Again, it's all about personal experiences, eh? What's happened to Boom Arms? Have looked for them a couple of times but no joy: their MICH 2000s are supposed to be worth a look, I hear...
