  1. One 12g wouldn't be enough to power it, whenever I charge my shells when only one 12g is punctured without realising my shots are a rather pathetic *puff* and the bbs fall out the barrel.
  2. Pretty sure one of the APS fill valves attach to the old 2x12g chargers. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/a-p-s-smart-cam-870-co2-cartridge-charger-for-standard-cylinder.html
  3. Would be nice if we could fund someone to CNC end caps...
  4. Phew, my wallet is relieved
  5. Asked APS about mk.1 parts, they said "CAM parts will still be sold", so seems all is not lost? Hopefully you can confirm Nonex.
  6. Looks like Dominator is going gas-in-bolt too? https://www.facebook.com/dominatorinternational/photos/rpp.840329289407643/1325810510859516/?type=3&theater I doubt they're doing it to compete with APS, seems like there are legal issues? Seems like one day there will be no gas-in-shell ejectors I still don't get why they even bother, might as well get a TM 870 at that point.
  7. Maybe we could group fund someone to cnc them?
  8. The shots also sound under powered compared to the bang of my cam870, sounds like a pps. 15 shots is utterly useless for skirmishing, think I'll have to buy an AOW and stock up on bolts and shells...I wonder if the trigger mechanism is any different, or the receiver?
  9. Their latest facebook post confirms the shells remain the way they are now minus the gas tank. I'd only be interested in the new system if shells were crazy cheap to the point I don't mind loosing a few at a skirmish.
  10. I suppose we'll have to see, the power output might be a lot less. Also, this will stop you from using HPA at higher PSI. Also the added complexity within the bolt...I prefer the shells being the only thing that can leak.
  11. Shooting random stuff out the shells is the fun part. Might as well get a pps at that rate.
  12. I thought it was something to do with preventing the CO2 of discharging backwards somehow...I'm not sure, but no o-rings doesn't have a discernible effect. Also I found steel parts by 'Bow Master', never seen them mentioned before: http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?cPath=29_351&products_id=12440&osCsid=uckaia74m2ipt45bbsl1o8suc7 http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?cPath=29_351&products_id=11946&osCsid=uckaia74m2ipt45bbsl1o8suc7
  13. This is what I mean: http://i.imgur.com/zHYvAuH.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ZGmd2MC.jpg Both were bought new, in fact most of my shells don't have the O-ring. As you can see, they don;t have the slot machined for it either...it's strange I thought
  14. I noticed that some of my shells don't have the slot for the o-ring between the shell body and plastic case? Does that mean the o-ring is redundant?
  15. Just make sure your output PSI isn't much higher than the standard charger!
  16. New APS shells are for sale on their website along with adapters. http://www.aps-concept.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=25_115&product_id=870 http://www.aps-concept.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=25_115&product_id=869 http://www.aps-concept.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=25_115&product_id=872 http://www.aps-concept.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=25_115&product_id=871
  17. Does anyone know if this can potentially fire the 6 shot PPS shells?
  18. Having trouble with some of my shells not firing, somtimes if I rechamber them they fire the 2nd time, sometimes they fire after a few seconds which is dangerous to say the least. Is it the valve stem getting stuck? They're definitely full of CO2.
  19. Getting the CAM870 tomorrow, any tips or mods before first time use I should worry about?
  20. Hey folks, I've lost the ball bearing for my hop-up, replaced it with a slightly too large one for now but hop is now erratic. Anyone know the dimensions of the original or where I could get one?
  21. After all these years I still haven't fixed it xD My G39 is currently a pile of parts...it kept having failure to fire with some of my magazines, so I gave up trying to skirmish with it.
  22. Ah come on I have jewish ancestry, it's funny
  23. I'd rarely if ever use Double Action, only when messing with it dry-firing etc. and I keep that to a minium.
  24. A while ago my hop-up/barrel spring snapped. I ghetto fixed it with wire from a paper clip. It snapped at some point unsurprisingly. I fired 3 mags worth of bbs without any spring or wire and I have seen no issue thus far. Maybe long-term it might have detrimental effects; I will skirmish with it this weekend. So far I'm roughly 3k rounds through the FNX. Issues so far: First mag leaked from baseplate, screws stripped so it's *fruitcage*ed until I get a welder, just going to weld it shut. Second issue is the barrel spring, but it doesn't seem necessary so far.
  25. Not sure if you've all seen this and it's new to me so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37bP_ZGWmBo and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3vbcGjMCbA
