The short barrel is what it came with as standard, I quite like it as is but if they bundled it with a longer barrel like they did with the Scar I'd probably put it on. Aznriptide it looks ok to me =p

Seconded BR, I was quite impressed with the quality of mine especially for the price I payed. That reminds me the LVOA bungee grip thing I ordered a while back arrived and is completely redundant since I originally ordered the MK5 9.5 (like bladerunners but in black) but was refunded as it was out of stock, so I had to settle with the mk4. Wasn't even sure if it would go on but I managed it somehow, not that it'll be there very long.

Black cloth and a spotlight (or a couple of torches with a DIY diffuser and red filter in my case) thats pretty much all there is to it.

Speaking of VFC... I maybe went a little over the top with the lighting but meh YOLO.

I don't really have any problem with mine, it sits level and fits my guns fine so it does the job. Just wish you got a low mount with it.

Double post Smash the system ! Picked up one of those Dytac geissele SMR's for my systema rev, its surprisingly nice for the price and fit like a glove.

I seen that one for sale, I had asked if he'd sell the grip from the spare but its in the same condition as mine (the plastic plate on the inside that mates with the gas reservoir is what breaks) so sadly no solution for me =[

Mine fires fine (decent range etc) but part of the grip has broken so it doesn't mate with the gun right. Its a design flaw so a common problem apparently...

Definitely didn't feel any different than shiny ABS to me. I used to have one of the old GWS xm8 kits from years back and it just reminded me of it, hence why I never took the plunge for the SRC one. Could very well just be how its constructed but it didn't give me the same impression of rigidity that G36's and tavor's did. Not trying to disprove anymore, simply sharing my own experiences.

I don't think so, the last SRC I held (whatever version have the flip up sights and removable optic) was made from what felt like ABS plastic. Shame as I've always liked the XM8.

Its one of those Trijicon RX06-14 Reflex Sight replica's, I think it suits those ultimak style rails pretty well.

Its the LCT AK Upper rail system, optic is a Russian kobra (rail mounted version). It did have the side mounted version fitted previously but it obviously doesn't allow you to fold the stock while its fitted, which makes the railed upper quite useful. Also allows you to fit all kinds of blasphemous doodad's...

Well turns out the shooters barrel in my operator doesn't agree with my osprey =[ Still looks alright on a USP.....

Its an ACE1 Arms OSP (Osprey) suppressor, you can pick them up from the likes of WGC and Ehobby Asia.

Cheers guys, theres nothing really fancy about the photo tho its just a tripod with a flash pointed to the ceiling. Mr_P its an old Shooters design stainless steel barrel set, I think its long discontinued though as nowhere seem to even list it anymore. By the way what sort of cost did cherakoting set you back if you don't mind me asking ? Bladerunner I kinda know that feeling, I'll likely be a poor student again by the end of the year =[
