  1. Can't imagine that they would work either, have a hurricane 416 receiver and it is setup differently to my vfc 416. Gear box has to slot into upper 1st rather than the lower, receiver held in place with rear tab rather than front etc..
  2. I've had the same problem but I've opened a ticket with KWA support on this, they've claimed to have requested the part from the factory and will get in contact with me when it is in, not holding my breath to be honest but it might be harm for someone else to request the same parts from them?
  3. Many thanks for the cracking review, have to say I'd love to get my hands on one of those adaptors too! A mate of mine tried to adapt a regular lipo onto the head of a defunct 8.4v pack but it kept shorting out (which in lipo terms means fire proof bag time!)
  4. Looks like the mags are finally starting to come back into stock, not only do Ra-tech have them but Uncompany (and and I'm sure plenty of others) have the 40rd mags back in stock!
  5. Much appreciated! Many thanks!!
  6. Evening, has anyone any suggestions as to what lipo (preferably a 7.4) that will fit the Hornbill RIS? I've tried a spilt 7.4 1400ma pack to no avail both in the ris and in the receiver. Any suggestions or links would be very welcome!
  7. Can't say that I had that problem myself but I used a guarder clear hop rubber when I put in the TK. In fact, I found the rubber/barrel combo to be a better fit than my previous offing of a standard 6.03 and firefly rubber, resulting in the energy output rising by 0.15J (which I found quite unusual as the fps should and usually does drop with the twist barrel). I can't say that I noticed any massive increase in range as I always found the sopmod hop to be as good as it gets but I did notice an improvement in "groupings", especially with 0.25's
  8. Have to agree big time on this, have gone through a fair amount of different magnified scopes, including the elcan, and I have to say the Spectre is by far and away the best I've used
  9. Nice setup! According to a chap on a local forum the umarex blurb can be removed using a soapy water solution! Now, has anyone any ideas as to where or when the 40rd mags will be in stock?
  10. If you can source a standard ksc hop rubber you'll be fine. I know it's not a direct answer to your question but the standard ksc hop rubber works better than the one I got from den trinity.
  11. I was having pretty much the same problem with mine, replaced the hop rubber with the standard KSC Glock, Sig etc type and she's up and working again! On a side note, it looks as if it's time for the npas to be removed for the coming months, on green gas @ 12°c ambient temp, it chron'd at 0.5J.
  12. Hi, I brought my newly purchased and upgraded Scar out today, used the npas to dial it down to 1J but the stinger hopup unit was pants! The only difference it seemed to make was changing it from single to triple shot. I was using 0.25's, I've read on here that the 0.28's are the way to go but has anyone any suggestions how I might get the hop to function? Many thanks!!
  13. Ok, further to my previous post, I figured out what was catching the bolt. The hard rubber pad that sits on the butt plate had come loose and was sitting just above the pistol grip. Needless to say it's well and truly bonded now but I'd image the regular applications of silicone oil might have loosened it in the 1st place? Anyhow, now that's sorted, does anyone know if anywhere has the 40rd mags in stock?
  14. Hi folks, long time reader, first time poster here! I've run into a problem with my TW KSC, I was running the mp7 stock (apart from npas, which I'm not impressed with to be honest) but I stupidly added the hard kick to the gun. It worked away fine for a shoot and after that I noticed that the bolt was finding it hard to cycle but mostly wasn't releasing. Having looked at the bottom of the bolt, there was evidence of unnatural wear on the left hand side. When I took out the innards it seems as if the the hammer release mech on the left hand side isn't releasing in sync with the ri
