Anyone gotten their hands on the SD3-version yet? Does the silencer do anything other than add weight to the gun? Also, haven't bothered reading every post so I may have missed it but how does the gun take a HK-slap?

Well, had I hade some normal picatinny scope mounts, then I would've used them instead Besides, the flip up front sight and the back sight in the carry handle are perfectly aligned, almost as if Sergei Simonov ment for this configuration to work

I'd rather say that it looked like a masada and a spr gangbanged an svd (= It's comfortable as *fruitcage* to use anyways, and I like the kinda futuristic look

Aren't you thinking of the Real Sword SVD? It's partially built from RS parts. And if I'm not mistaken there actually is a G&P hop-up set for their SVD.
