I'm not positive, but I believe the entire MCS kit and it's parts are only available to LEO/MIL. I looked into doing the same build as Kojak a few months back.
Speaking of, what is the base for your shotty Kojak?

Actually, the slight blurriness of the shapes is what I like about it. I'm not sure it'd look as good if it was too crisp and clean

If you want that 'in the field' look, I'd say paint and strip the RIS to get it to match the receiver.

I recently had a similar internal argument over the Desert Warrior: TM or WE? I went with TM and got a Guarder kit with it.

I'm guessing the mag pouches are placed that way for easier access while prone? Also, if he has any pistol mag pouches, perhaps they're on a 1st line?

A kindly member of the forums has sold me his LCT kit, I'm sure it can be modded to fit.
Next on the list is making those bright orange 'bakelite' mags look a little more authentic
Speaking of, here's my first attempt at a "Fakelite" paintjob for my LCT 70rd mag. Once the rest get here, I'll have 3 more like this. Also the gear marker was a silver Sharpie with a stencil.

Those of you who use a Banshee, do you use the internal buckles? Or do you just use the cummerbund to hold the vest snug?
I usually do an 'either or' set up. I normally run the cummerbund, so I have the internal buckles off right now. If I ditch the cummerbund, the buckles go back on. You could use both, but there's no added security in doing so.

I know WGC has LCT hand guards, but I can't comment on the compatibility since I don't know how the hand guards attach to the TM Recoil AK.

I've got the FMA and it's nice and solid. It has a nice, thick shell with a good finish. I'd say it's closer to the DragonRed than the Emerson.

A roll pin or screw attaching it to the front sight post should do the trick

Ah ok, I thought that's what it was. So by the sounds of it, you had to bore a hole into the bottom storage cover for the mounting bolt to go through. I was hoping to not have to do that, but if I must, I must.

What grip is that on your DG RPK?
I was wanting to put a US Palm AK Battlegrip or MOE AK grip on my DG AK74 but wasn't sure how well they'd mount on.

Here's my L1A1 Carbine. (CA SA58) I found a Rhodesian FAL chest rig to stick with the "classic" look and a leather M1 sling is on the way. Now if I could just find some mid caps!
