  3. Yes sir. It's also one of the very few mounts that works to offset the Surefire M720V:
  4. I love it much more than the LBTs. It's a much more low profile and smaller setup while retaining a remarkable number of pockets. You'll definitely notice it's profile if you prone or crawl alot
  5. Yes, my trigger mech failed after about 7-800 rounds (on the third hi cap magazine shot) and I had to remount and tighten the trigger mechanism (it basically fell apart). I would attribute this to poor quality control/assembly since PTS went this way with the design. There is absolutely no evidence that the first hundred or so were made with pre-production/prototype parts. I have stayed very objective in my review of the PDR-C. I have listed physical flaws I've seen on my PDR-C and praised certain design elements as well as stated a few "would be nice to haves". Most of the negativ
  6. FYI, mine was serial # 4XX, which leads me to think that the first batch were probably all the same. I think PTS probably made at least 500 units in the first batch. I think it's just the inconsistency in QC that varies. I don't believe the design has changed in any of the PDR's we've seen thus far.
  7. Actually there are only 3 wires (2 you can actually see) coming out from the unit. Unfortunately, the other 2 leads on the bottom the C4OPs can't be disconnected. So far, I haven't had any problems with the wires getting in the way. I can't think of any better solutions, but if you have any, I'd be happy to hear them.
  8. Too much Here's a pic of my comms in my rig. The battery splitter is really useful in reducing the height of the PRC152 so that it doesn't dig into my armpit. LOL Battery on the opposite side pouch: Antenna underneath:
  9. - Triumph PRC 152 (IPX7) - Silynx C4OPS - Silynx Wireless PTT - Silynx battery splitter -TCI Antenna cable I think that pretty much sums it up. Having problems with the PRC152 speaker not turning off. with the PTT connected (common problem I hear). Was just informed of a fix for it, so will try it out tonight.
  10. Out of curiosity, does anyone run a Silynx C4OPS?
  11. Took a quick side-by-side comparison of the new streamline version of vs the original. I really noticed the difference in the polymers.
  12. Lol, interestingly enough, I was trying to replicate Stickman's build: I don't mind going with another flashider/brake, but I prefer one which is the same length as the A2 birdcage to keep it short. Thought about a KAC TBB or a BCE 1.0, any other suggestions?
  13. Finally got around to "almost" finishing my AAC 300 Blackout URX Build. All I'm missing are the trades.. which are coming soon. Apologies for the poor lighting.
  14. Actually, it's one of the poorly designed features of the gun. It's very stiff and requires a lot of force to activate. I thought that over time it would loosen up, but upon examining the mechanism further, there are a lot of friction/stress points. It operates via a cam which pushes the rod on the right side of the gun backwards, operating another cam that pushes the magazine catch through the gearbox. The actual catch is located on the other side (left) of the gearbox. I hilighted the v-shaped cam since the original pic was full of grease: As IBMedic stated before, a
  15. Does anyone own the new "streamlined" version yet? I'm interested to know the difference in the internals. Thanks.
  16. It fires like an AEG. LOL I've mentioned it runs at about 330FPS (~1.25J @ 0.25g bbs) What would you like to know?
