  1. I think you have yourself a lemon. I have had mine for several months and it still shoots just as good if not better than my King Arms M4. Keep in mind that the hop-up will take a few hundred rounds to break in and you'll need at least .25s. If you bought yours from EVIKE I would recommend sending it back so they can have a look at it. They seem to have really stepped up their game when it comes to customer service.
  2. Amen to that! I keep checking this thread to see if I can't figure out how to fix someones problem, but there aren't any. I sure did pick a boring GBB when it comes to tinkering.
  3. My stock does the same thing. Does anyone have a fix?
  4. Redwolf and Evike have some in stock.
  5. It may have something to do with the size of the gap where the gas is expelled. Heres a picture of mine for comparison.
  6. It most definitely can, but there is a helluva lot of locktite and some kind of clear rubber getting in the way. Even if you did manage to adjust the distance, I'm sure that you would have to use locktite to prevent it from unsrewing on you. My advice would be to just buy the NPAS and save yourself the trouble.
  7. The 340 FPS was with .2g BBs at a temperature of around 70F, or 21C. I know there's supposed to be a reinforced hinge plate coming out soon, I don't know when though. Until that happens I think of the plate as a consumable part, such as BBs or propane. If I have to spend $10 a year to buy replacement then so be it. I'm not going back to sewing machines.
  8. That would be a definite YES. This was my first GBBR too. I bought the black V3 edition with 4 extra propane mags. I skirmished with mine yesterday and my only problem was one magazine failed to feed BBs because the feed spring got stuck. But, after a good hit too the helmet the problem was remedied. Preformance wise the FPS was around 340 +-5 (green gas), and the accuracy and range was slightly better than my King Arms "MRF-RX Troy" M4, using .38 gram BBs. Although there is a break in period for the hop up(mine settled down after about 300 rounds). The recoil is a lot of fun, as well as
  9. Unfortunately its the exact same as yours except in black. I was hoping for the reinforced stock hinge since my serial # was at 572, but no luck. Have you seen any signs of cracking with yours yet? I've fired about 200 rounds and all parts still look brand new.
  10. I just got mine today too. The propane mags have worked flawlessly although I don't have the CO2 so I can't comment on those. I couldn't believe how loud the thing is. Even without firing BBs the sound alone will work as suppresion fire. I cannot wait to skirmish with it on Sunday. Here are some pics.
  11. I have the same AEG and I would HIGHLY recommend the Intelect 9.6 battery http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=23921 . I have had mine for about a year and have zero problems with it. Just make sure your careful when adjusting the stock as the battery wire can get shredded.

    KJW M4

Great report! It's very comforting to hear that no one is having problems with the KJW M4. The only thing I don't like about the rifle is those butt ugly magazines, but I'm sure that KJW will eventually release STANMAGS and make everyone happy. I may have to take out a student loan for this. I've never fired a GBBR, is there anything that you can compare the recoil to? From all of the videos that I've seen it looks like it jolts enough to cause your arm fat to jiggle, but is it substantial enough to enforce a real steel stance?
