  1. Great work! But honestly that's far too much work. I would rather just buy a steel trigger and be done with. But kudos to you for the custom work. thanks, Bryan
  2. Bummer. My main problem was prolonged use with CO2 mags actually broke the disconnector, part 66 and the hammer. I had to replace all the parts and figured the new steel CNC parts were a no brainer. The only reason I didn't get the TSC trigger as well is because it just looks plain ugly. I guess now I have no choice. I've decided not to use CO2 mags anymore, the guns internals were just not meant for it. Anyways, I don't want to go back to the stock WE parts, so I guess I have no choice but to get the TSC trigger as well. thanks for the help! Bry
  3. Can someone help me out here? I installed the TSC steel hammer and TSC steel disconnector/sear as well as the steel part 66. Everything sort of works. When in semi auto I fire 2 rounds. One squeeze of the trigger fires 1 round, then when I release the trigger it fires another. Full auto works just fine. Sometimes I also can't switch between full auto or semi auto after firing a round, then I fire another round and the selector works again. I've read somewhere a while ago that something on the hammer has to be modified? I can't find this, can someone help me out and let me know what I need to d
  4. Hey guys, I think CO2 has taken a toll on my gun. I've had another failure. Bolt got stuck.. used forward assits. I removed the top receiver and the hammer broke in 2 and a small peice of shiney metal fell out as well. However, now I can't mate the 2 receivers together properly without pushing part #48 forward and holding it there first. I'm assuming that the small peice of metal that broke off was part #66 trigger assembly. I can't be sure since I haven't opened up the trigger pack (never done this before). I've ordered TSC steel hammer, sear and a PMC steel trigger assembly as well as the or
  5. My "steel" bolt catch actually turned out to be worn. I can see it's missing 1-2mm of materal and it looks like it's bashed in where it contacts the bolt carrier. I guess steel isn't strong enough? Do real steel bolt catches work?
  6. Hmmmm... that propane video you posted looks like the mags were stone cold. That's how my gun fires usually after I've emptied a full propane mag, then instantly refill and then do another full auto run. Did you let the mags sit for a bit before you fired them? Also, what was the amb. temp? My tests were done at 20 degrees celcius, I let both CO2 and Propane mags sit for about 10 min. Both mags had a drop of light silicon oil. I find the Propane mags are much better, better ROF, more consistent FPS and more kick. My CO2 mags always have a pattern where they start off weak for the fi
  7. I made a little video on youtube if you guys want to check it out. I basically directly compare the ROF of the CO2 and GAS (propane) mags. After much testing, I find propane is much better. Aside from cooldown effect, CO2 has little to offer as the FPS and ROF is VERY inconsistent. It costs more and the stupid valves still leak. Check it out..
  8. Hmmm.. well that sucks. I'm sure there's a reason why nobody simply made a heavier buffer instead of a counter-weighted one. Probably there wasn't enough power to push the heavier buffer back. Are the counter weights easily removable? I wonder if just using a heavier buffer would make it better.
  9. Check for black tape! They cover the trades. I actually got really upset when I first got the PMC cocking handle. I was like.. What a JIP! No trades! Then I scratched at it with my nails and noticed black tape over the trades. Very good idea that they did this for customs purposes and not to get sued by PRI-MOUNTS. I doubt the PMC counter weighted buffer is any improvement. According to the WE wiki guide, the counter-weighted buffers actually decrease recoil and also decrese ROF. I was hoping that the PMC was simply a heavier buffer. Oh well... Let us know if the recoil spring does anythi
  10. Has anyone purchased the PMC buffer? Any thoughts? I made the mistake of thinking it was different than the shiney blue one and I think now I have 2 pretty paper weights. This one doesn't make as much of an annoying rattling sound, but it's quite obviously still a counter weighted buffer. I also snapped my WE charging handle so I went with a PMC Aluminum. These are top notch. They have the pri-mounts authentic markings (are they REAL pri-mounts?) and it also has the big tactical latch which I love! It seems to stand up to abuse really well. Bry
  11. Taiwanese are just nationalist from China during the second world war. We're all chinese. I purchased 2 new mags and 1 valve set to replace my Ver 1 mags leaky valves. Both new mags leak the first time I filled them. After emptying a couple mags in dry fire they stopped leaking. Several days after, I filled them again and there is a slow leak from the upper valve again. Seems like these things leak no matter what you do. Occasionally they won't leak. I replaced my V1 Mag's valve, filled it up, it doesn't leak. Couple days later, it leaks BAD! If I flip it upside down the mag e
  12. Lucky you, you're the first satisfied customer I've heard from.
  13. [rant] That's why I still don't order from ASB. I tried twice, one time they didn't even ship out my order but said they would keep checking the tracking number. Next time, they completely ignored me for a whole month, I only got my money back when I filled a claim with paypal. They emailed me back 2 weeks after I got my money back from filiing the claim to tell me that my order was ready to ship out. FU*K WILLIAM. If you aren't setup to do business properly, don't! Simple as that. A friend of mine bought some parts off ASB as well. They sent him the parts in about a month. He was constantly e
  14. Anyone know where I can get a reinforced mil-spec charging handle? Horizon Tactical seems to be offline now and they aren't taking anymore orders past the month of May. Honestly screw ASB, so any other suggestions for North America? Anyone get anything from TS-One? I had good communications with them for 2 weeks straight then they seemed to have fallen off the face of the earth. My WE reinforced charging handle just broke in 2. thanks, Bryan
  15. I read on here a while ago that someone converted an AEG outer barrel to work on these guns, can someone post pics or more info? I have my old G&P outer from my old AEG and I love them, they're very heavy and magnetic so probably made of steel. The sights, flash hider and barrel look amazing on G&P guns, my sights even started to rust! BTW, where can I get a full stock for the WE?
