Hey you know what I just noticed today... My Masada ACR has a CW barrel thread not a CCW... weird, and kind of annoying actually since most aftermarket flash-hiders wont work. Has anyone determined if its a standard inner barrel? If so how long?

M-Series PMAGs work fine E-Mags work awesome Flash hider is just locktite.. put in boiling water for 20 seconds and twist off.. but yeah no grub screw at least on the US Model. Oddly I have had problems with a few aftermarket flash-hiders not wanting to threat on.... weird.

Magpul PTS Masada ACR is actually its real name according to all documentation here on the US Boxes.. Masada #573 Black Skirmished indoors last night with it... the trigger response is awesome for headhunting indoors, Using my 1200mah 20C lipo it has a really intense ROF also although I am more of a semi-guy myself. Dumped about 1000 rounds total tonight so I am up to 3000 or so through the gun... no problems to speak of except scaring the new guys No barrel wobble, and the body is rock solid.. no give or wobble in the body at all. They are not marketed as modular platforms... they are marketed as discrete guns... and if you ever try to buy a part its very hit or miss.. stocking is terrible.. thats why so much aftermarket is sold. My point was them being marketed as modular platforms... as opposed to selling 25 different SKUs of the same gun in different configs. Anyhow thats kind of offroading from the topic... I play 3 times a week at our building so i will keep you guys updated on how it performs.

Ive held the A&K but didn't own it. Quality is top notch on mine at least.. and all the additions like electronic trigger, easy spring change, quick replace body and barrels... its all where AEGs are going... this is the revolutionary design that a lot of other manufactures will copy. You already see ARES with their new M4A1 adding electronic trigger and quick change spring. I am sure other major brands will follow suit. I think we will probably enter a new age of more modular guns, instead of Echo or CA or whoever making 25 different M4 variants they could make one master desig

One interesting thing now that I am up to 1k rounds through it I noticed is that on full-auto tapping the trigger fires 3 rounds (occasionally 2 or 4) which is pretty cool. Trigger response is VERY good. The plastic flash hider is glued on, I still need to heat/freeze it off... the black one that came with it has no grub screw which is kinda interesting... I will probably put an aftermarket flash-hider on it anyhow but just thought I would mention it. Now I have a 20C lipo in it.. not sure if that is making a difference but its ROF is pretty high (not that I am an ROF guy) and so

Magpul Masada ACR #576 in Black received! (oh and yes thats its full name) Thanks Redwolf! Gun is immaculate.. I will be doing a full review of the black version soon on our website, this is not a demo model this is bought from retail. Pix will come up soon I just need to find a non-dark background. One of the big problems with most people reviewing the GBBs is they are frankly used to 1 boxmag / 1 kill philosophy that seems to be infecting Airsoft these days. I am not saying there are not times to fire 20-30 rounds to hit someone under cover or in a bush or at max effective range of your gun. GBBs at this point are setup as replicas... not as toy 35rps BB Hoses... The people who are lethal with their AEGs firing on semi, or with their bolt action guns, or the pistol freaks will be just as lethal with these new generation GBB rifles.
