The only bad thing about winter is it's too cold to refinish my rifles... the 102 should be getting a new optic soon and the 635 will have a spare 16" upper with the G&P knight hawk kit. I'm thinking about keeping it at 400 with .25s and just running a madbul crawler to keep the FPS down on the original upper for the few times I go to a CQB place with a low FPS limit. Other than that they both need STRs when they're released and I'll be happy.

The railed dust cover on that is a Texas Weapon Systems Dogleg v2. I've been following it quite a bit since it was released and so far the reviews have been nothing but positive. Holds zero and repeats when the cover is opened. It's got a few tricks built in that helps it do that, unlike the stock dust cover. I really wish I could get one to fit on an AEG receiver.. That must be a fairly recent photo, iirc the cover has only been out for a few months.

Crackisbad, even with my extensive collection of reaction images, I don't have anything that properly describes how awesome that is. Now I can't wait to get back to work on my UBR AK.

Well, I can't find any MW3 servers with less than 300 ping and steam tells me the singleplayer is unavailable. Why do I still buy games?

Having no issues here, in fact i am in the Ready up on a lovely 4 player Survival, you got it on PC, that is BF3 territory, get it on a console

Steam can be pretty weird sometimes... I got it working though, campaign was decent, much better than blops, but if you're playing call of duty for the single player you're doing it wrong.
Most of my MW3 problems come from the terrible network on campus though, it was fine past about 10 and I had a lot of good games.

I ran into the same problems with mine. My BP mag doesn't like to feed and the gun itself was much too front heavy with the UltimAK to be comfortable for long games. The polymer railed handguards might not be as versatile or true to the original, but they feel much better to me. The rear sight and rear sight block doesn't look like a CYMA, I would bet dboys at that price.

So, I'm looking into the G39K. Anyone know where I can get the KAC sight base and the idz stock? Also, someone posted a while ago about fitting the mag internals into magpul g36 mag shells, did anyone get around to trying this?

Well, all I really know is that I had to get my CYMA drum welded up to even have a chance of locking into the receiver. The magwell seemed a bit loose front to back on everything else I've tried as well, if you haven't noticed that on your than you're probably fine with just about anything.

I use G&P PMAG's (40 rounds) and they are fine, The only thing i have replaced on mine was the buffer with a real one and anti rotation links and thats because i wanted to not because i had to

Do you have a WOC or a WOC-X (kit?)? Also, I'm not a huge fan of the metal shells on the G&P pmags but I'll check them out. Has anyone used the BP GBBR mags?

One of the guys I play with just got a real sword AK and he's having the same trouble with mags. They look good, it's just the whole, design a DI weapon in 7.62 that handles like an AR then use it with 5.56 AK mags that bothers me, but I'm odd like that.

With the exception of the 5.56 mag, I agree! 7.62 waffles or modded US PALM mags would look great in it imo. Otherwise, fantastic build, I can tell a lot of time and money went into it and it sure paid off.

Watch what drum you run in that, I got one of the matrix/CYMA ones from evike and it was too short to lock in the magwell. I've heard that it doesn't like anything but CAs..

I skirmish mine just fine. The px4 model was just about the only SERPA I wasn't able to find locally, but I'm sure thats different on your side of the ocean anyway. I haven't had a problem with finding spare mags either. On an unrelated note, one of my marui PX4 mags vented all of the gas from the bottom of the mag in the gap between the floorplate and mag boy this weekend, any ideas?

Pretty sure it's a PK01, mount is probably one of these. Also, magnified optic on a short barreled 7.62 AK with a terrible railed dust cover. I don't even...

Everything looks better with a URXIII. After playing around with it for a few days, I really wish I had this at pine plains 5.. There is one on the top of the castle nut. They are a bit wide, all I had at the time was a small paint brush, not a paint pen. They'll come off with a bit of paint thinner so I'll redo them when I have the rest of the stuff I need to mark on it.

You know, I was looking for a review on these earlier this week.. Nice to know the externals are good for the money, unlike the star green labels. After the trouble I had with my BP AK mag, I'm going to wait to see how these feed before I pick some up. -

The same thing happened to me with the stock barrel and the nineball bucking. I'm away from my airsoft stuff but if I remember when I'm home this weekend I'll compare the barrels.

Another concern with the PX4 is that the rotating barrel can actually unscrew the suppressor. Booligan on ASR had that problem with his PX4 clone iirc. Also, Ex, my TM PX4 has the same problem with a nineball bucking and PDI barrel. I haven't had a chance to troubleshoot so I just have the stock bucking and PDI barrel in there now.

Might want to get a cheap one to try first, but if real steel dust covers fit a TWS dogleg rail might be a good way to get an optic on there. EDIT: Disregard, I forgot that the recoil spring housing probably won't work with the TWS rail.
