    Between my 2 Strandhoggs, 2 AGB Sleeves, a 6/12 cummerbund on my WAS DCS and just about every major brand of pouch with a true myriad of different attachment systems fitted, tested & skirmished with all those platforms, I've not found any noteworthy difference between using 6/12 and conventional PALS rigs.

     

     

    That is what I was looking for. A player with experience to use it and tel me - no difference between molle and 6/12. I was looking at Spec-Ops Lekki plae carrier. which is only 0,5KG or Nora Tactical from Norway. They make custom plate carrier for 290USD something with laser-cut hypalon. Also 0,5kg or smth. I think that 0,5kg Plate carrier is really light

     

    I am looking to lighten my rig, because my team requires to have plates, but with fully loaded RICAS and LMG I had issues with my back :) And I love LMGs...

    It his 100% fully compatible, if FirstSpear say something you can believe them I assure you, hell they've been making pouches with conventional PALS attachment themselves the whole time.  I've had my first Strandhogg coming up on 18 months now, review link below. V

    I saw your review of Strandhog. But I would like to see some pictures and get some experience :) I do believe that brands carry certain perceived quality and brand trust. However, I still want user experience. Maybe its compatible. But there are certain aspect to know and maybe use other system, like Airlite?

    Pretty basic and lightweight rig (chicom), as I'm waiting for AK fastmags in ATACS FG for my FG RICAS...

     

    Trousers are Ops Tactical Ultimate DA Pants.

     

     

     

    Can you link to what type AK fast mags are you talking here? I've been using replica taco and hate them. Trying to save for set of real ones.

    Hi folks, I have been looking int DIY gear for a month or two and I was thinking to sign up for sewing courses sometime this summer.

     

    Before I hop into spending money (like buying old school sewing machine with walking foot and big bobbin FTW), I wander where is the heaven to buy all the DIY goods with decent EU shipping:

     

    500D and 1000D or similar nylon in color like CB, OD, TAN.

    Webbing OD, TAN, CB

    Nylon Threads OD, TAN, CB

    Buckles and other plastic/metal parts (like American molding stuff)

    Kydex

     

    I read DIY forum, but I do not seem to find any real guides for noobs, like selecting needles, threads, troubleshooting etc :)

    Finished my shorty m16 build, internally still a stock tm m16a2 except for a madbull barrel and ultimate hopup.

    and then a not so good photo, but it gives you reference for how its laid out.

     

    Amazing. Love that. I am so fed up with all the rail space. Must try using some MOE simplicity myself.

    I think that pretty much sums it up.  Having problems with the PRC152 speaker not turning off. with the PTT connected (common problem I hear).  Was just informed of a fix for it, so will try it out tonight.

     

    How much was that set up?

    Here is M14 that was modernized for local "sniper rifle/DMR" purposes" in Lithuanian armed forces many years ago. With custom NV sight adaptor. Looks like the difference from TP1 is the cheek riser that is adjustable. Stock was made locally one company.

    It seems the spacer works ONLY if your hopup is outer barrel-mounted, not tray-mounted (like most VFC's are). I can't get get the spacer to work in neither of my AK's.

     

    Could you eleborate what is the difference between those? As I only have CYMA's here. Nobody knows LCT around here :D I know that thereis plastic L-shaped piece that fix chamber between the front and gearbox.

    Seem this is the most appropriate thread for my new loadout. It's a work in progress, but it's starting to take shape. Late 80's Mujaheddin:

     

     

    I borrowed my sister's aviators for the picture, need to grab a regular pair (obviously not using them in-game). Now I need a chicom chest rig instead of the Pantac, a more mix and match assortment of magazines, a few more Afghan items (decoration on the gun, knife, etc), and some old style Soviet boots. Also, everything needs to be used and worn quite a bit, it's all much too clean and shiny.

     

    I think you are holding gun "too good". I mean finger discipline, all that tactical eye look... IMHO, you need less firearm safety in this loadout :)

    My new LCT build kit:

     

     

    Full steel AKMMS, I once owned a KLS AKMS and it felt like a toy compared to this, oh boy...

     

    Some updates on my rail Frankenstein:

    -Tan rubber pad

    -Sawed off the original front sight, and put a SR25 flip-up front side on the rail

     

     

     

    What kind of rail is in the front and back? I have CYMA 050A project with some similar ideas... yours look really good.

    I wonder if someone could help me with some tech info:

     

    Will LCT receivers/kits will fit CYMA 050A type AEG's without mods? I heard these CYMA's are VFC/LCT type.

     

    Is there any rail system designed for LCT/VFC AK 47, but not SAMSON, somethink shorter. Links would be welcomed.

    Thank you for reply.

     

    Atm, I had three wings that should vertically be insterted into receiver. I cut the back wing, ant it actually help a lot with better fitting. The original CYMA PMC grip, had no wings like on ELEMENT SAW GRIP for AK.

     

    If I understood aznriptide correctly - I have to make screw hole bigger? Or just I just remove some "meat" from the inside bottom of the grip? I Think that my Element grip does not even reach the screw hole on the motor cage. I can fit a small screwdriver between the grip and motorcage 360 degrees angle through the grip's screw hole & i feel no restrictions there.

     

    At the moment I believe that main problem lies within those wings, and the front part of the grip, where it meats the trigger guard. It is seriously out of specs when compared to original grip size (internal width, length etc). I will try either aproach and post my findings (maybe a picture).

    If anybody has experience with this this - would be helpfull. This is not direct drop in, as ELEMENT grip does not slide to the end. Looks like the motor angle is slightly different than (is there difference between AK74 and 47 pistol grips in airsoft aeg's?) (maybe difference between marui and VFC?).

     

    Want to talk with some experienced ppl before grabbing file and sharpy, and epoxy :D
