  1. Quick question guys; I want to pick up a replica Ops-Core lid (can't afford a real one just yet) but I have a small head, and I've heard that they run on the med-large to large size on the current batch of replicas. Would anyone know which of the available replicas out there is the smallest?
  2. Thanks JP, I might have to re-evaluate my lid choice if they are that large. As its the adjustable harness part which interests me the most I might get that separately for my 2001.
  3. Does anyone know what kind of sizing the FMA Fast BLT repro's are matched too? I've got a smallish head so anything over M-L will look like a skip on my head. I've also noticed they have vanished off of EBairsoft (again) since I last looked, but JKArmy, DragonRed and the BJShop still have them. Are they getting pulled due to licensing or something?
  4. Nice review, I was tempted by these also and emailed to see if they would do the other styles and had the same response as you. I'm going to hold off for now and hope something comes along soon. I'm currently using the old style OPS DI Pants in MC and they are awesome.
  5. Your going to have mags fall out of the pouch when your running/going prone/kneeling if its on your leg. Do a game with it there and you will see, its just not practical. When I first started airsofting I did the same thing and found it just didn't work out, there is a reason its normally found hanging off a belt rig or so.
  6. Sorry for the poor quality of the picture, camera phone in my kitchen. Pretty much stock TM M4.
  7. I'm tempted to reply to his email back again, and then wait for the shocked response I don't have paper records going that far back to check if the CC was charged or not so I'll just ask if they did or not and then get it double checked my end. As I thought I didn't get charged and I loved the IBH I picked up it just went to the back of my mind, that and it didn't fit with any loadouts I was running just after.
  8. From: military Sent: Monday, October 20, 2008 4:50 PM To: amenthea Subject: PT Helmets Order Update David we are currently making more a-alphas they won't be available until late november. Do you want to stay on the list to get these? Bob Vale PT Helmets DoD Sales Ph: 1-888-565-7779 Fax: 734-384-5990 www.pthelmets.com military@pthelmets.com Check the date, I said yes, and I still don't have one yet You actually reminded me of it, I since got an IBH and a normal PT. I'm hoping they only charge on despatch and not at time of order otherwise....
  9. Cool, thanks helping clear that up a bit!
  10. I'm most likely wrong but I thought I'd heard only SEALS have AOR1/NWU II issued to them? Would a CCT deployed with a SEAL team get access to their stuff and be allowed to wear it? I can't remember seeing any other pics of CCTs in AOR hence the query!
  11. JG gearbox disintegrated, thought they where supposed to be reliable?

  12. I picked up a DAR rig in OD from ebay a few weeks back, from a returning services member and despite obvious use (its been sprayed and still has markings on the back) its very stiff, and quite tricky to get mags in the 2 furthest pockets. Great rig though, solid as you like and comfortable.
  13. I very much doubt it, as the genuine Crye uses a moisture wick material to help with heat etc. I have a Gen1 Crye combat shirt and 2 Direct Ops (I assume your talking about the UR-Tactical Direct Action "combat shirt") and they both function as you would expect without that hot/sticky feeling. I've tried a ACM combat shirt in MC and ACU and they both felt just like a shiny t-shirt like material that did nothing to help with heat.
  14. Thanks for posting that Scuffer. Price is looking a little high for me though. I was hoping it would be closer to the £300-350 mark then £400. I agree it is nice but its not £400 nice, especially when you consider you could pick up a very tasty G&P for that + extras.
  15. Hardly ever wear these bits together like this as when it comes to it I almost always go with my MC stuff. I carry just what I need and no more if I can help it. I get almost no natural light in my hallway, excuse the poor image quality.
  16. Excellent, thanks for that. May have to invest some of my monies in a pair
  17. Scuffer, what are the Timberlands like? I caught sight of them a while back but no-one I know has tried them.
  18. My very battered and reliable TM M4. It fires 328 on the dot, and as its a plastic body its really light, in a good way. Excuse the poor quality of the pic, I was using the wifes hand me down camera.
  19. Ah thanks, I'll take a look around the web and see if anyone else does them, E-H-A don't have much stock atm.
  20. For that price I'd put money on them being ACM. Its possible that somewhere can do them at below the retail price but to say all of the Ebay sellers are selling genuine Oakleys is a bit of a leap of faith and almost impossible to confirm. I might just order some at random and compare them. I picked a pair of the these up recently to replace my 5yo Hatch Operators that are now starting to have a few loose stitches etc, but after a few days in them I can say I personally prefer the hatch gloves. The Oaks are "softer" but I feel that they may rip at any moment, and the hard knuckle section do
  21. What front end is that one there? It looks kinda like the DD Lite 9.0? I'm trying to get something just like it for my next project, product listings for the Sentry just call it the Vltor front end but I can't find any products that match.
  22. Thanks, I like to keep it simple wherever possible, and it suits my style. Also I tend to be very unlucky when it comes to things somehow deciding to fall off no matter how tight they are on when I'm playing outdoors so less to lose!
  23. I've just gone through all 62 pages to check I've not posted in here before, and now I don't want to as mine looks rubbish in comparison It looks more expensive then it is though.
  24. Even though I seem to have a lot of it, I never actually wear ACU as I mostly play woodland where I prefer my MC (boo hiss) but I do lend it out to friends when they need something. I don't tend to go for a look of any sort, just add what I actually use as and when its needed.
  25. If Dboys made a stock MOE M4 I imagine it would be pretty much like mine. It started off as I got sent the wrong metal body by mistake, and as I already had the handguard anyway and a few other bits hanging around I thought why not. Cost just over £220 in total so far. It's all Dboys except for the PTS Moe handguard and grip. The CTR stock I got from a German company on ebay for about £25 shipped ( I was desperate to get a stock on it, which wasn't black, and funds where short) and although it is a cheap copy doesn't rattle or move at all and is almost an exact colour match. When funds pe
