Obviously, it's just rare since Remington/Blade Tech never made any effort to retail them. It would be super simple to make a Kydex clip for the 870, but an exact copy would be nice for those who want a milsim impression, and seeing one easily copied item for sale in HK makes me think that it's probably happening already. They're $125 here if you want one for "reasons": http://www.autoweapons.com/products/othergoodstuff.html

Toy Soldier has one of the Blade Tech holsters for $200; hopefully a replica is forthcoming: http://www.toysoldier.com.hk/product_details.php?pid=1006

Toy Soldier has some stickers so you can dress up Marui mags as hinge busters: Sidesaddles don't make any sense on a breacher, though.

Evike says they are: http://www.evike.com/products/48909/ They might be wrong, but since they appear to have the Silverback in stock (for the same price as the plastic one) someone could drop by and double check.

Not much left to do with my MK18 except wait for a 556-RC can.
-
Good luck on the holster; hopefully some Chinese company makes a replica since they are pretty hard to come by. And maybe a replacement forend with the cutouts for a light.

How does the grip feel? The real Pachmayr Vindicator is a substantial chunk of rubber.

The plastic on plastic stock is a worry, since I've seen a couple metal bodied AK AEGs with metal skeleton stocks that were pretty flimsy. Echo1 is reselling this here under the pointless Genesis VIKTOR name for $160, spare 1000rd highcaps are $18: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=17627 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=17628

I'm thinking the firing pin is way too big, and hopefully not forceful enough to touch off a primer: http://i.imgur.com/qhIzIVe.jpg But why would he do something destructive and dangerous like that? For the safety of others? Suppose I go hitting shotgun shells with a hammer, to see if it's a "safe" hammer? Let the BATFE buy and break their own toys, don't do it for them. Also, the cruiser model is much cheaper: http://www.evike.com/products/48501/

My backup M4, built entirely from aftermarket parts:

Ebay IIRC, it's a Mission First Tactical Battlelink Utility Stock with a Battlelink Adjustable Cheek Piece (yikes). MFT BUST with BACP for short. A cheek riser is pretty much a requirement for the M14ALCS/CV (Mk14 Mod 1) chassis.

Thanks! In my opinion it looked much better with some paint: Unfortunately it's been sold, but a teammate bought it so I get to play with it occasionally. It was sitting on my dining room table with a Mark 4 scope on M10 rings and Atlas bipod when he came over for a visit; he snatched it up immediately and hasn't changed a thing. I miss having a semi-fantasy DMR in the collection, so I've been sketching a modernized SVU.

I think I see a STANAG in it though. Nevermind, I guess it DOES work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kccYLwH4G7o

Wait, is that a Surefire MAG5 AND a Redi-Mag? How does that even work?
-
Guess I'll never drive the weapon system dynamically, but I'm sticking with VFGs.
-
How's the sizing compared to standard uniforms (Propper or Tru-Spec)?
-
That bipod is the first logical Keymod accessory I've seen in ages.

Weapon mountable laser rangefinder (for snipers)
kojak replied to Bodgeups's topic in Tactical Equipment and Accessories
P.S.: I'd settle for one based on the "old" AN/PSQ-23A, in case a RAPTAR is too compact. Bodgeups, I know your rifle is getting crowded, but maybe rig it up so the display is in the scope cam's FOV? -
Weapon mountable laser rangefinder (for snipers)
kojak replied to Bodgeups's topic in Tactical Equipment and Accessories
MAYBE, if you had some way of making repeatable adjustments and marking them for specific distances. More likely, you're better off with a nice flat trajectory dialed in at the bench and left alone. On the other hand, a weapon mounted rangefinder would absolutely be useful to an airsoft sniper for deciding whether or not to engage. With practice and experience you can make estimations, but knowing the range to target with some accuracy will let you make the most of whatever minor range advantage you might have, instead of giving away your position unnecessarily with a "Hail Mary" shot. -
What hills? All I see is lots of lovely shade. Hills look like this:

Needs more Krylon.

That's cool, I need another one and wasn't looking forward to modding it. Hopefully it's better than their PEQ-16 was. Now, who's gonna make me a Surefire SOCOM556-RC suppressor?
-
SF CQBRs use the LA-5/PEQ pretty much exclusively now, and the only replica is a cheap battery box made by FMA. I installed a green laser in mine and touched it up with paint, specifically a lighter tan sprayed on the battery cap and light bezel (they're supposed to be aluminium) and amber model car turn signal paint on the post for the laser filter cap.

Seriously, why are we not doing "phrasing" anymore! Although, I don't think it counts when someone (aznriptide859) already put his double entendre on the table. Photo thread:

My "tip" is new, though. Since there isn't a replica FH556-RC-12x28 yet the 215A flash hider was the closest I could get.
