I was impressed by the gun as a whole. It just so happened that the model i got to to try was a RA Tech one.

Was looking at an RA Tech version the other day and this just might be the next one.

Still looking for an optic and a rear sight. I added a Haphaestus charing handle (a bit tight) and a RA Tech Magic pin. I dont have a scale and a waffle mag to compare this to but off the bat it is heavier.

Bit the bullet and picked up a ver. 2 CQB earlier. And it came with the usual thermold mag. Picked up a STANAG mag also. It is significantly heavier than the thermolds. Will try and post pics later.

My take on a MK18 mod 1 TM M4A1 based KA Metal receiver Madbull DD RIS 2 Built this a couple of years back then kind of put this aside cause I concentrated on GBB's for a bit. Still missing a few bits and bobs and some internal work. Any suggestions? Kind of regret putting this together especially since Alien Airsoft makes fully built MK18's for about the same price of the receiver and the rail alone.

I know, it would've been perfect if it had trades. But you can't have them all. I eventually went with the WE cause of the after market support and price.

Here's my WE 4168 (open bolt) I've put a little over 700 BB's through it and I've had no real problems with it except I cracked the nozzle after about 150rds because it double fed a BB. I noticed a little inconsistency while playing but was able to finish the day. The only changes I've done except for a new stock nozzle is I added a 6.03 455mm barrel and Maple leaf hop bucking. I havent zeroed in the hop up (Adjusting it is a pain) and I cant give the exact numbers on improvement on FPS and distance but definitely noticed the improvement. From what I can remember from my last chrono I think

If the holsters tight you can try using a heat gun.

Those non railed WE 226s look real sweet.

Wasn't really in the market for a new pair of boots but these were given to me at a good price and in the right size. After wearing these for a short hike all I have to say is that the traction is just wow.

Also debating whether or not to get bungee's for this

To add, I think the hardware/straps are black. Which definitely makes it the Emerson version.

Im not too sure on that particular mount but IIRC Aimpoint does make low profile mounts for their COMP RD's. Also there are a lot of manufacturers who make low 30mm mounts which will fit the M2's
