Steam trains have been replaced by more efficient technologies. That makes sense. I suppose AEGs are more efficient, but at least the BV system works more efficiently than GIM GBBrs. . .

Easier to operate yes, but I wouldn't say more efficient. BV systems have one moving part, it's hard to get more efficient than that

I guess when I said AEGs were efficient, I was thinking cost wise. . . but yeah, only 1 moving part saves alot of headache.
