  1. I'm not sure about others, but on mine the nozzle guides, the bar that connects the bolt and charging handle, the bolt catch, and the bolt cover broke through normal usage. I'd say don't buy one of these things unless you're prepared to spend a lot of time and a decent amount of $ getting it tuned properly. I've seen it done, but it does take some dedication.

  2. I doubt AEG op rods would fit on an M14, much less be able to handle the stress.

As for the trigger problem, I fixed it with duct tape. Just put a double layer of duct tape between the trigger pin and the inside of the stock, works like a charm. Thanks for the help everybody.

  3. I do have that gap, but I just looked at it again and the rail that slots into the upper reciever doesn't mesh very tightly with the upper reciever. I'm guessing this is the problem? Because the two parts of the trigger box aren't moving, just the whole entire thing.

  4. I recently received a used WE m14, and the stock seems very worn out. The upper receiver moves back and forth a few mms. I looked through the thread, and the edges in the stock that cause this problem are severely ground down. The main problem is that the trigger box can rock back and forth inside the stock when assembled. when the gun is ready to fire, the trigger will move back a few mms when pulled, then the whole trigger box will sort of rotate back and into the stock, and then a considerably large amount of force must be pushed on the trigger to drop the hammer. Even then, after the bolt cycles, the trigger won't drop the hammer at all, due to some weird interaction with the selector parts.

Could a worn out stock be the source of all these problems? Or is there anything else I can do?

    Thanks!

  5. Stock TM with AMP M6-ish light/laser. Started painting before I realized I was out of black paint. A little wear and tear will sort that out though.
