  1. It's the NineBall purple VSR-10/TM GBB soft bucking - It's listed in most places as 'Nineball airseal chamber for VSR10'; This thing on ehobby; http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/nine-ball-air-seal-hopup-chamber-for-marui-gbb-and-vsr-rifle.html Seems pricey for a bit of rubber, but the difference it makes is amazing. As for the tightbore; http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/nine-ball-6-03-precision-barrel-for-marui-px4-gbb-90-5mm.html Currently out of stock unfortunately. Still, with those 2 simple upgrades my PX4 is reaching out and poking people with a .3 at AEG ranges, with lethal accura
  2. Excellent comparison dude, really good to see the differences! You'll be astonished when you get round to shooting the thing, Nineballing it (Hop rubber and tightbore) makes it a laser gun that outdoes most 350FPS AEG's. Also, i'm immensely jealous. I'd love a real one
  3. Dude, it's £110, it's not like i have a choice Good review man - Having had a few shots with this on Sunday, it's frankly astonishing for the price. Really, a man size target at 60 metres is child's play. I'm sure Ollie saw me running away a fair few times after thinking i was out of AEG range and seeing him sitting there - It's quite intimidating being on the other end once you know what it can do.
  4. I have to agree - I've never once looked through the good or bad sellers list due to the sheer length of it. I'm not sure an individual thread for each person would really work, but howabout a moderated list? Like, a stickied thread with a list of good sellers. You could get yourself added to the list after say, 3 good sales. That way, anyone wanting to know if you're a good trader or not can have a quick look through a list of usernames, could that work?
  5. Nice friendly chap, very quick postage, couldn't have asked for an easier trade - Cheers dude!

  6. KJW M9 Vertec; Anyone know if it takes the same tightbore as the TM?

There probably is, but google doesn't immediately bring it up, and i thought i may as well use my status for something useful rather than random brain-junk.

  7. They always do, hence why they're so often out of stock! Still, on the bright side; http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/cgi-bin/sh000001.pl?REFPAGE=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2elandwarriorairsoft%2ecom%2f&WD=sentry&PN=M4_and_Long_Rifles%2ehtml%23aGP901#aGP901 LandWarrior have got them all in except for the one with the Magpul lower receiver, and they're probably going to be the cheapest in the UK.
  8. I'd like to ask for your gun's hand in marriage, if that's at all possible. Seriously though, well nice. +1
  9. has become a huge fan of the KJW M9. Why didn't TM put an adjustable hop in theirs? FOOLS!

Ahh, didn't realise the newer ones did. That kind of answers my question, i meant more in a 'Why haven't they re-done it yet', but evidently they have.

  10. I hate posed photos, hence the derp face. I'll try and get some decent action shots on sunday. So far, i'm pretty impressed - Little bit too 'deserty' for proper green areas, but if you stick to dry dusty parts and mud/forests, it's quite impressive. Quality of the Propper gear is amazing as well, toughest BDU's i've yet owned. Gear is all sprayed with random tan/grey/black to try and break up the solid OD it was before, although i need to get a few lighter colours on it.

    CZ Picture Thread

That'd be infinitely nicer if you removed the '1 joule' sticker Still, very nice piece. What's the range and accuracy like?
  12. See ejection port cover - Not that neat, but i figure if you're going to carve abuse at the enemy into your gun, you're probably not too worried about the font
  13. www.component-shop.co.uk - Stock up on 7.4 volt either 8, 11, or 1200 MaH stock tube sticks - It's so much easier, and gives you the choice of any stock you like. They won't explode/melt your house, and they're less maintenance than NimH's. I've run all of mine on these batteries for as long as i can remember and haven't once had a problem, and i'm the laziest person ever when it comes to batteries. G&P threadlock them on, so it might take some bashing and swearing. Best way is to borrow an AR-15 wrench if you don't have one.
  14. I know quoting pictures makes me a bad person, but i seriously don't think this gun should be forgotten on the last post of the previous page - that's gotta be one of the nicest builds in this thread. +1
  15. Looks nice dude - Out of curiosity, how have you kept the VLTOR flashhider from rusting? I'm not too bothered by it, it's just a minor annoyance. Using Lipo's or NimH's? (On the subject of which, just to echo what's been said, these things are designed primarily for 7.4 lipo's).
  16. I've always much preffered the A1 style carry handle rear sights to anything folding or 'click adjustable' - They just seem so much more solid. I actually really like the setup with the M6, but the unmodified rifle is so ridiculously light i don't want to add any weight to it. Plus it just looks so clean. The picture was really just for the fun hell of it, but if i had another XM...
  17. Dear Purists; Love, Rich ....Seriously though, i'm not really doing that. Friend of mine had an 11.5" M733 barrel and wanted a 10.5, so my XM177E1 is now a sort of M733, kind of. Or something. It's one of these, anyway; And my MRP, after being hacked at with a dremel;
  18. It definitely seems to be the case. I went through the entire process as i always do with the blue unit, and still couldn't get the performance i wanted out of it. It did the job, but there were too many fliers and a lot of left hooking no matter what bucking i went with. After closer inspection, the hop arm itself was very slightly twisted, causing an uneven pressure on the nub. I've never had an issue with the black parts hop units.
  19. Mine have all been black in the rifles themselves, however an aftermarket set i bought had blue plastics. Oddly, the set with the blue parts never seemed to work correctly so i ditched it. Possibly an older design or older version?
  20. Just with regards to the above, there's a few things i've learned in my years of tuning G&P hop units - You can't just go on a recommendation for a hop setup, down to the fact every gun is a tiny little bit different. It's a good place to start, but all 4 of my rifles, all with similar FPS levels and barrel setups, have totally different hop combinations. Two use the standard G&P bucking, one uses a guarder clear, and one uses a madbull blue. All 4 of them shoot lasers to over 50 yards at around 340FPS and outrange everything i usually come up against. I really can't recommend enough t
  21. Twins. The paintjob isn't quite as bright, need some photos in natural light really. On another note, dual-wielding PX4's might be the most fun thing in the whole of Airsoft.
  22. That's a very good point - Over here, the PX4 works fine in the cold, but it's a little sluggish and the slide doesn't always lock when it gets to a few degrees celsius with green gas. Still, today i'd say it was about 16-17 degrees, and it was kicking 260ish - However, at room temperature it's only around 270. Still, that's in the UK obviously, but the PX4 is very well built. A lot of the rounds i've fired have been in the low 20 degree room temperature of my house - I can't yet see any signs of stress or damage anywhere on the pistol. There's paint wear on the slide rails and the like of cou
  23. Mine has done 2,000 rounds now without a hitch. Today, i blatted folk like it was going out of fashion with the thing. It's literally TM's best pistol to date - The plastic used is tough, feels sturdy and feels very polymerish. The frame is re-inforced, there's a 3 part recoil buffer, the inner barrel and hop just sits inside the outer barrel, the BBU is simple and the mags are solid. Honestly, it's amazing - Everything feels positive and clicks into place, it shoots brilliantly and is very well designed. TM have really put some work into this.
  24. I run .3's in mine - The problem is the pistol only puts out 240-260FPS on green, so it doesn't really have the oomph to sling anything heavier. Get the nineball rubber, LPE shims and a tightbore and it'll put you up to a decent FPS level. Mine is a tack driver with a .3 now, it sends them miiiiiiiiles. The nineball rubber is probably the key part though, it's got a lot more hop to give than the stock TM rubber.
