Am I the only one aware of the fact Snowden and Assange were given information that could catapult them to fame and fortune and don't actually give two *fruitcage*s about privacy and rights?

Point is, whether he's legally a traitor or not doesn't really matter, he still is one - He's betrayed his own country for personal gain, that's the long and short of the story.

I'm not sure that's the case. Is there any evidence of him doing this for personal gain so far? He's made it very clear in his interviews so far that he's thrown away everything in his life to do this. I'm glad he became a 'traitor', so to speak, to get evidence of what was happening and what could happen into the public light. It's generating a lot of important discussion. I think it's going to get a lot more interesting in the next few weeks.
