What weight BB's were you using? I'm going to try this out when I get a new barrel for my G3. Going to try get it working with .3's using a 350fps with .2's setup.

How are you gluing the rubber down? Hot glue or super glue or what? And did you glue the plastic square to the bucking?

Using .28's at the moment - Glued the rubber down with standard loctite, holds fast. I glued the plastic square to the rubber covering the hop window, then put the bucking over that... It's starting to seem like this is going to take a *lot* of trial and error.

Ah I see what you mean; That definitely looks like a much simpler and cleaner design. Saying that, maybe it's just me, but personally I've always felt the only improvement a decently build WA gun needs is in the hop system.. Maybe I'm just lucky. Still, I'm not gonna lie, GHK's design does look very well thought out, it's just not something I can see myself being interested in besides the hop and magazines!

I actually ended up with an Mp5SD5 after all that. Woulda been an AEG AR15, but I needed a gun for the weekend and LWA have a huge chunk of my money tied up waiting for a refund because they didn't answer my damn email in time >.<

Shop's good these days - A year ago i despised them, but i've bought about £1200's worth of stuff there in the past few months. Really, really improved. £290 for the 607, which is actually £5 cheaper than FS... On another note; IT'S F&*KING AWESOME.

The LM4 isn't ambidextrous? D'you mean the magazine release or the fire selector?

The standard LM4 isn't, although there's an ambi selector available and you can get an ambi mag release on it; However, Mega Arms do an extremely nice lower with full ambi controls, including mag catch and bolt release. It'd be awesome if KWA decide to replicate it, although I imagine they'll go with the standard lower.

I thought about the Bomber MRP as Redwolf have a 10% promo right now, but that and 6 Prowin Mags would cost $1,300 so I ordered a KSC Magpul M4 instead for half the price, comes with NPAS already installed too!

That's kind of the problem... I love my M4 the way it is now, but the MRP has always been my personal favourite blaster. Loved my AEG one to bits, just wish I could afford the WOC How is the KSC anyway?

Hasn't been delivered as yet but I had the 1st KSC M4 and was well impressed with build quality and gas efficiency. Should be even better now with improved hop.

See I've got an ABS Strike Warrior for winter use, so gas efficiency isn't a huge concern - I'm aware it'll suffer a fair bit with the metal kit, but I've got 2 strike warriors and the National Match kit is awfully tempting..

Yeah, that's basically it. A few seconds with a steel file did the trick for me. I think it's whatever coating (and its very nice) that Guarder applied that adds a little extra thickness.

You could also have the magwell milled out to accept CO2 mags

That sounds alright to me - I'd heard horror stories of nothing fitting from a few years ago, but all I can find recently is the kits are almost a drop in. Good to know, cheers man.
