OI. KWA. MEGA ARMS LM4. NOW.
-
Does anyone have a clue what's actually happening with them? Their facebook page is silence, and all I know for certain is they've had a licensing dispute with Kriss.. Gah!
-
The licensing dispute was pretty bad. Apparently whatever KWA did, it was enough to lose Kriss AND get half of KWA's US staff to quit.
-
Yeah, I've heard that too... I just want to know what the deal with KWA actually is, whether or not they're likely to recover or dissapear!

I have a terrible fear I am about to be screwed for the first time on ZeroIn. Balls.
-
Panic over; Sold a guy my HK3PX4, all in perfect nick, and he claimed the gun wouldn't work due to the hammer not locking back - Immediately panic'd because it was on ZeroIn, but replied and asked if the packaging was damaged or anything, and asked if he was trying to cock it with the safety on, just in case. Then I wrote a whole big post covering the 'What if' on here.
He had the safety on.
-
"I mean I could have looked it up in the manual but no one reads those things anyway."
-
To be honest I think it was a genuine mistake - Pretty sure the guy was as sceptical about the Z1 forums as me, so he immediately thought 'scammed' instead of fiddling with the safety!

Anyone stateside wanna help a man out with some Kimber grip panels?
-
RC; The HurricanE ones are plastic on TM style weights... Just not quite nice enough.
Tiny; I'll PM you in a mo, cheers dude
-
Had me fooled, could have sworn they were real laminate.
-
They do look really nice, but you can feel the difference. Shame really. Plus I'm sure the grip weights won't be doing the gas efficiency any favours in the cold.

Scaar, whoever you are, I wish I had the money to buy everything you are selling. Crikey.
-
Ahhh... Sucks to see someone sell a collection that big, but seriously... Oh to win the lottery.
-
nearly 80 million on the Euromillions tonight, you gotta be in it to win it!
-

.300 AAC you say? WAM4 you say? Suitable matching suppressor you say? Hmmm.. http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=searchItem&item=SVOTW-300ACC9-WAGBB&search=special&rs=svoboda&catid=&cat=&view_choice=c
-
I don't think so, Wild_XII; the KWA ERG and LM4 variants have their own additional pages. I think they left the K in the last part when they copied it over from the KWA page. Suppressor here: http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=special&item=SVOTW-762SS&search=special&rs=Hot Release&catid=&cat=&view_choice=c
-
Second what puresilver says, they just copied the description - there's a WA, KWA and ERG version going with the suppressor good for all 3!
-
Then I stand corrected!

God-damn, I am viciously handsome.
-
Actually no, I was utterly wankered last night. I have no idea why I felt the need to tell an internet forum consisting 99.8% of males that I am viciously handsome. My brain aches.
-
I would expect nothing less from Hungover Hwagan, I'm just waiting for the inevitable hungover facebook picture so I can laugh at it.
-
Hahahahahaha, fair enough. And I think it is now 99.999999999999999999999% as I haven't seen an active female here in about a year.

I think I'll go buy myself a TM M9A1 after work.
-
Miraculously, it did! Oh TM, you make such nice things.
-
now run it exclusively on propane and tell us if it breaks surprisingly little info on it...
-
The day I use 134a is the day FireKnife stops making innuendo's! So far I'm 10 mags in on GG and all seems fine, the thing is a beast.

I find every part FAB defense make visually upsetting.
-
Still better than Mech Tech.
-
Yeah, same with CAA. I'm sure they're all decent quality parts and all, but aesthetically... eugh.
-
There are only a few parts I like from them like their heat shield accessories because they are cheap. They make a nice stock and grip pod as well.

AirsoftWorld have thoroughly regained my respect and custom.
-
Nah man, made an order yesterday for 3 tins of Brut, RA-Tech WOC rubber and bearing hammer, needed for the weekend - They called up, informed me the rubber was out of stock, but they'd ship the rest for delivery tomorrow and post the rubber FOC as soon as it's in stock again. Thoroughly nice bloke, very polite and helpful and agrees gas guns are the way forward!
-
Huh, usually I just get BS and attitude from them. Add in the botched repairs some people have had it doesn't bode well but still good.
-
See I gotta say, when was the last time there was a complaint on here about them? I wasn't a fan in the past but I can't fault them on the last 3 orders I've made at all, even if I try! Not sure I'd trust their tech department, although saying that they're about the only place in the UK stocking WA System GBBR parts at the moment..

Someone who knows; TM Hi-Capa upper assembly running on 1911 Lower + Mags; Possiblah?
-
it'll work fine, but the slide will feel wobbley as all hell, there are however slide spacers made by tanio koba that solve the problem right away.
-
You need a Tanio Koba slide spacer mate and thats all you need.
-
Awesomesauce, cheers guys - I smell a project coming on..

has become a huge fan of the KJW M9. Why didn't TM put an adjustable hop in theirs? FOOLS!
-
Good, isn't she?...And the M66 is rather purty too- fanks!
-
Because the TM M9 was made at the dawn of time? Its like saying, why doesn't the FAMAS have a mosfet or deans.
-
Ahh, didn't realise the newer ones did. That kind of answers my question, i meant more in a 'Why haven't they re-done it yet', but evidently they have.

KJW M9 Vertec; Anyone know if it takes the same tightbore as the TM?
-
I'm fairly certain, i'd just like to get some first hand confirmation before i drop the £28!
-
Must be some info on the net as to this.
-
There probably is, but google doesn't immediately bring it up, and i thought i may as well use my status for something useful rather than random brain-junk.

I'm actually considering buying an AR that isn't a G&P... has anyone tried G&P midcaps in a King Arms larue body?
-
I figure as much - I'm gonna risk it anyway... To Wolf!
-
I've got no problems with KA, I've had 3 SR16's and they were all rock solid as G&P's are. GB not as robust as G&P's but still usable for 50K rounds without modifications. You definately want to change/fiddle with the hop unit though.
-
Got my hands on it - Larue 9.0. Externals are effing gorgeous, but i've had to tighten up the barrel nut, replace the buffer tube, and the disassembly is a nightmare. Hop seems perfect on the bright side. Maybe i'm just a perfectionist, but G&P are a good few points ahead. I'm still pleased with it though.

just received my Well SR-2. It's actually a £500 VSR in disguise, for £390 cheaper. Literally astonished.

Seriously, a 5 minute clean of the barrel and removing the velocity reducer, i'm hitting the same yard thick tree 9 times out of 10 at about 70 meters... It's frikkin' amazing!

That'd be a great plan, except i'm very, very poor =P

You could always sell body parts or fluids, I hear the pay is quite good.

I could give you a good deal on an IA Larue receiver set.

Falcon Double-Point hop rubber - Avoid at all costs, it is junk.
-
The AEG version. Problem is, the 2 little contact ridges are too flexible - Even with a solid nub, there's too much give. Might try a harder version if they do one, but the 55 degree feels not much tougher than a carrier bag.
-
Roger that. Thanks, hwagan.
-
The concept seems good, and I may have got a duff one - But it's pretty dissapointing, I had quite high hopes - The 55 degree is really flimsy rubber though.
