I have a paor of Bates low-top boots. They're pretty comfortable, and long lasting for daily use.

I'm curious about buffertube battery placement as well. Is there easy access to the battery itself?

I have used Magpul products and the sort before, I just never cared for them. Hence the reason why I no longer have them. ( Stealthbomber is gonna have field-day with this thread. o.o )

I purchased it with my own money. I bought it because I wanted a new gun. I'm sure you have bought a new gun just because you wanted it. I don't need an airsoft gun. I lived without one until 2 years ago, what would stop me from doing it now? And of course I buy things I don't need. It's in human nature to aqcuire things we don't need. I was talking about weapon accessories I don't need, not all the other ###### in the world that's out there. And no, I picked up on Airsoft after I played a couple rounds with some friends. It's just a personal thing for me. If I don't need it, then it's not ging on a gun. I'm not going to bash somebody for doing it. Its not like they'd listen even if I did. It's all personal choice.

I think he was talking about players attaching replica PEQs to their weapon for the express purpose of the look. Now, I can see using one as a battery box. I just don't see any reason to attach un-needed junk to your weapon if you don't need it.

I'm not concerned with 'fads' or anything made by Magpul and such. I don't buy ###### I don't need. I like regular handguards on most of my weapons, I like the standard and altered stocks that are common for that weapon. I really don't give a damn about what's popular or cool looking. I use what I like, and what's comfortable. So yeah, there's my two cents. :]

I like keeping things simple. I made a stencil with my girlfriends middle name on it, put it on, and called it done.

Managed to get some natural-light pictures today. My replicas have names, this one has my girlfriends middle name. :] I made the stencil myself, using photoshop, and cutting it out of cardstock with my tanto.

Just got my Echo 1 M4 yestorday. Sorry for the poor picture, its been raining for the last couple of days.

It's all in personal preferance my friend. I like it, and I'm the only one that uses it, so it makes no difference to me.

My G36 in a fresh coat of Krylon OD green. :] Nothing special, but I do love the way it looks.

Just put a frest coat of Krylon OD on my G36's handguard, top rail, stock, and mag well. She looks so 'purty. will try to post pictures tomorrow, when I have batteries.

I can see somebody accidentally cutting themselves with that, considering that you don't have any tang on it. But those are pretty awesome looking, and they look like they were proffessionally made. :]
