  1. So i'm a bit undecided of wich new gun to buy, a new M16 or the Scar. I already know all the problems and fixed them in my current M4 but what about the Scar ? What parts should i expect to break so that i can order/exchange them before they do break ?
  2. Ohh cmon drop the mr thing, my name is daniel Anyway i did sub basically all my trigger parts but i haven't broken anything apart from a v1 charging handle, i just changed them for precaution. Some will tell you to change a few parts and some may tell you different, i won't say for you to change them because it's a bit of a gamble to know if they're gonna break or not. Since you're going to use a lot of CO2 my advise is to either change or at least stock a few parts and carry them you as an extra. My self, i prefer to stock a few cheap parts and have them easily available than to ha
  3. After a few mods, yes it does catch every time! I shortened the bolt catch spring 2 or 3 turns, put a shim on it ( altough i don't think u'll need it, i used it because my guns are v1 but one of my mates v3 didn't needed it, better tolerances maybe ? ) and used synthetic metal to add a litle bit of material to the bolt catch - where the catch touches the catch plate of the mag -, this last one sealed the deal. To be honest with the synthetic metal "mod" i don't think the other two mods are needed but since it works i didn't touched it anymore Yeah u have a v2 co2 nozzle, can't say anyt
  4. Mr ? AHAH u just made my day dude Is your gun CO2 ready ?
  5. I actually got them directly from renton, u can find it here http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk/ecshop/goods.php?id=5968 . Combined with the new black rubber it gave me quite good results. I've seen it on the RA-Tech website somewhere and i believe from RA-Tech's Youtube feed. EDIT: Here it is

  7. Wich version is your M4 ? Is it the latest version ? Buy the RA-Tech/Stinger hop up kit, i improved quite a bit the accuracy of my and my team mates M4's
  8. Can vouch for that, my stock KJW P226 works fine with cold weather, only time it vented gas "explosively" was with temperatures close to 0º ( all the water puddles were frozen ) by the 4th or 5th. Tomorrow i'll do some tests with my SOCOMgear M.E.U ( hopup teflon mod + JBU TB 6.01mm ), i would do with my KJW but my only mag went to mag heaven
  9. I'm already waiting for stock from TCM of those Ra-Tech parts, but never seen any valve striker breaking ?
  10. Yeah i'm just asking because the fitting responses are all over the place, some say it fits some dont ... I'll buy it and try it myself i guess Confirmed that, my bolt catch was very loose and would give erratic bolt lock in my v1 body, a small shim worked wonders!
  11. I've searched but couldn't find a defenitive answer ( if there is one ), does someone knows if the DD MK18 RIS II from SOCOMgear fits without problem ?

    KJW M4

Although i do admit my WE has it's faults, my WE has a count around 6k rounds ( i have 2 3500 TM BB's sack's just for this gun ) without breaking anything other than the charging handle yesterday, and that was partially my fault after installing the new inner barrel and CO2 kit AND it's a V1. And it's been treated pretty roughly, even the trigger group doesn't have sign of heavy usage and although i have all steal parts for it from TSC i didn't had to change them yet. IT DOES have a few small issues but a bit of tinkering and it's all good. It doesn't work quite well out of the box as t

    KJW M4

That's roughly 40mm ( don't use imperial ), i can live with that. Anyway i've seen some threads back someone that said that they installed a Marui P226 inner barrel and it worked. Is it confirmed ? Cause if its true i hv a nice PSS10 inner barrel for the VSR that would be a great addition to my KJW once it arrives!

    KJW M4

Smaller ? I'm asking because i couldn't find the outer barrel you refer on Madbull's website, so your outer is bigger ? Isn't it the M733 one ? Anyway i know a shorter inner would reduce the FPS, it would actually be a good thing since at it's stock form the KJW is more than 70fps too hot ( actually ilegal, legal would be 1.3J~374FPS ) for my country. I've actually thought of shortening the inner barrel and stick a PWS Diablo front end on it but that would give me a bunch of things to do and i'm full with the WE. What i intended was to remove the section that "breaks" at the front sight

    KJW M4

Since the outer barrel breaks at front sight level, if you would have used the original outer would the barrel stick out from the rail or would it be inside the rail ? If inside do you think a silencer would fit inside the rail ? And BTW, if you would do me the favor, is your outerbarrel this one, http://www.safarasoftair.com/index.php?mai...roducts_id=4449 ? You had to mod it with the 2 cuts correct ? Sorry if i'm nagging you too much

    KJW M4

For what i've been gathering about ~450 with Green. Quit a bit too hot for my country, just got to find a way to reduce it.

    KJW M4

Well after following this thread from the beginning i can positively say that i'm sold! I still won't give up on the WE but i'll be buying a KJW M4 GBBR by the end of the month that's for sure. A KJW M4 GBBR plus 5 Mags <€ than a WOC ? Sold
  18. Been there done that, the very sad truth is that even with the initial problems this gun gave me i've had quite a lot more probs with my old WA/G&P
  19. If you actually checked their website once a full moon, you would notice that they now have a name for the aforementioned shop you're looking for And yes .. IT IS the german's shop fault, they are charging freakin 69€ for the CO2 kit! The same kit i just bought from TQM for half the price, and unless Mark is selling below the price he paid for the parts it's obvious that sniperairguns are clearly overcharging to shaft their costumers ... I can blame WE for many things ( like the reaaaally crappy hop up from my V1 M4 ) but most comments i see are coming from "angry" users/costumers from
  20. Does anyone know if parts #111/#112 ( barrel and valve housing ) for green gas can be used with the new co2 steel nozzle, using green gas off course. It's just that my M4 nozzle ( v1 ) just broke ( ok broke it xD ) and i have a "spare" one from my CO2 M16, i was wondering if i could use my M16 bolt carrier ( CO2 ) on the M4 ( Green ) until i get replacement parts.Any body ? No they don't
  21. Well that sure is good news, at least we have many options. I ordered a couple of those uni-directional guide rod's from TS-Custom, they should allow to adjust the power but until i actually install one of them can't say for sure. But i would buy one ffrom RATech if someone tries them on the M4.
  22. Hen i just had my morning sarcasm on, anyway i am actually interested too ... not in that particular upper but if any upper made for the PTW fits the WE also
  23. Quoting from a famous philosopher ... Yes it does fit, it will rattle quit a bit which it seems to be largely fixed by using RATech's Magic Pin. Well it seems the spring wasn't the original one that came with gun, i received a v1 but the bolt stop was already changed to the new one, i guess they either tried to fix the problem and failed or the spring that came with it was essentially crappola. I got a substitute and now is working like a charm
  24. Yeah my small King Arms did the same but my Gemtech G5 suppresses the sound REALLY good, can't say for sure but it seems to reduce the sound print by half. Surefire does have a suppressor line, http://www.surefire.com/RifleCarbineSuppressors , but i don't find them really that attractive though. Anyway you're talking about part #78 right ? I might try that but i think my problem is actually the opposite .. the bolt catch is quite limp already
  25. So i received my WE M4 GBB today, it's a V1 so it's shooting waaay hot in the 500/550fps range. Anyway the bolt doesn't lock back when the mag runs out of bb's, the little sliding button on the mag is correct but the bolt just keeps going, and i can lock the bolt back manually. Everything cicles smoothly its just that the bolt never locks back when there's no bb's left. Any pointers ?
