Just wear and tear, after a while the rubber seal will fit fine. I usually just make sure the seal is well lubricated. But its weird that you're getting less ROF, my OB had a higher ROF than my CB guns ... Have you only used co2 ?
-
I'd say that most sensible people would agree with that. Anyway point made; picture thread, so here are my PCs. One for 556, one for 762:
Just use TACOs dude, i love mine and i don't even like mexican food

I experienced issues with my hop on my M16-A1. the first couple of shots the hop was fine but after a burst or more single shots the hop started having no effect .
I shaved of about half a mm off the front of the nozzle . This seems to have solved the issue as it appears the nozzle was forcing the BB past the hop nub when it returned to battery under recoil
Yup that's it, http://tw.myblog.yahoo.com/frogman-myblog/article?mid=10305

Those numbers are a bit misleading as I tested my 2 bottles of Guarder power up gas and although they did have higher pressures, they aren't anywhere close the numbers they give.
More around the 150 psi mark at room temp ( 24 degrees ) so careful when using propylene.

Indeed...i pressume that the syndrome it's absolutely going to happen with my country summer temperatures...too damn hot!...but it was a nice try with the weather more friendly(cold)...Thanks!...i'll stick with normal propane as usual.
Well if the temperatures there are anything like around here, during the summer we usually have 35~40+ºC, MAPP really isn't a choice ... for giggles we tried running some MAPP on my KJW P226 on a hot day ( surprisingly the mag held the gas ) and we almost got hit in the faces with the slide that went flying out of the gun

A darker base layer and that would look awesome with some flecktarn

Hello...does anyone else here have tried this on the KJWorks????...i did try it yesterday 'cause i found a video on y-tube of a guy called "daedalus" using it with his WE m14 EBR....and damn!...that's some serious recoil power increase...it's really hard to aim and shoot in full auto using this...I played under the rain and i wished i had a camera behind me just to record how the water on the gun sparkled all over with each shot...and a scope cam to record how the rifle completly goes crazy on the red dot sight with full auto shooting....AMAIZING!
That's MAPP and it's quite a bit more powerful than propane, careful though ... at room temperature the thing can have over 200psi in pressure ( depending on brand ). I have this at home but only use it in winter when the temperatures are relatively low/safe to use it and the WE M14 already has quite the kick already anyways
So i seriously discourage people on using it during the summer since it can cause the dreaded "flying parts everywhere" syndrome

I've seen that but i believe is more to correct some problems in full auto ?

I don't mind paying for quality gear/products but $1k for a pair of pants ? That's unbelievable ...

It's almost 1/2 the price of a new replica....
Well since the replica itself is so cheap, all upgrade parts will look pretty expensive in comparison
-
Sriously ... who buys that stuff ?!?!?
-
Although not needed ootb i highly recommend buying the complete trigger pack from RAT, it is aweshum !

So far so good; with a Falcon bucking and grooved barrel it's shooting farther and straighter than ever before. The first real test will be this weekend's game.
Bit offtopic but where fif you get your grooved inner barrel ? Can't find it on the ehobby shop ? Did you order it directly from Falcon ?

Nice one.
I've long thought that KA deserve more props than they get. They make the only AEG LaRue receivers I know of, as well as a fair few other AR bits and pieces that're extremely rare.
And they do it pretty well too !

That's weird my M16 came without any orings and never lost its settings... don't see the point in having orings there tbh.

HFC will only produce under 330m/s with .20 bb, which isn't ideal for sniping.
Heavier BBs will take you over 1J.
No NPAS available
OMG 330m/s ? Thats over 1000fps .. no wonder people use them for sniping
J/k aside ... too bad i can't find the wood stock for it in Europe. I've been eyeballing this puppy since it came out
-
Wonder if the new bolt will mean that no "old" parts will be available ...
-
Apart from that, that looks amazing. It's great that VFC have properly replicated the bolt catch, I really like that. If this performs as well as the WE, I know which one I'm getting.
Just plinkered with one today. Unfortunately the plastics are not up to par with the WE and the recoil is unsatisfactory compared to the WE. I only did an indoor test so can't speak for longer ranges but i wasn't very impressed considering that it was 50€ more expensive than the WE.
But at least now people have choice and more competition is always good! Can't comment on full auto ( it came from a German shop ) nor cooldown ( it's frakin 40ºC around here ).
Wasnt there earlier pictures of the VFC G36 having the semi, 2 round burst and full auto settings? The video is from a german so semi is all they have/allowed to have
-
I just managed to install a brand new nozzle assembly and ... still no full auto
I'm now seriously stumped to why this is happening
-
And i like how in the end, when in slow mo you can see a bit of plastic shooting out of the ejection port. Nice touch
-
Glue wont work used superglie, then araldite, then cold weld. Still came out after about 150rds!
I've used epoxy with success, just make sure you really clean the parts first. In case you've noticed it too late and the hole is already damaged, unless it's damaged beyond repair, you might try to counterbore it so that the epoxy fills everything and "wraps" around the pin.
-
Currently waiting for glue to dry as my hammer pin finally came out. First proper failure for my g39 after many thousand rounds.
Lies! Just lies !
-
Yeah i've noticed that too, sort of, you might want to check if your mags are "m4 spec" or "scar spec". The ones made for the SCAR sit a tiny bit higher than the M4 ones because they had an oring beneath the seal.
I forgot about this when i was installing the conversion kits and just noticed it when i began to see "slam" marks on the feeding lips, they were getting slammed against the hopup unit when the carrier was hitting the mag.
-
I ordered a couple of extra nozzles and they left customs today but tomorrow is national holiday here so won't be able to test them until next Friday, let's hope that it fixes my auto issue ... although i'm still trying a few ideas of mine on the original nozzle.
The carrier is still being dinged up but after filing it down and giving it a less steep mating angle the "dinging" is much more controlled. I'll still be modding mine though and will bore out the rear section of the carrier and refill it with two custom made "weights" made of aluminium and steel, will also remove material from the "dinged up" area and replace it with a bit of tool grade steel.
It's a pity because in single my M16 performs flawlessly and has so much range ootb, even more than my m14
And damn ... these open bolt mags are awesome ! Even with the mag completely frozen ( for the lulz i dunked the mag in water and proceeded to shoot with it ) with a 2~3mm outer shell of ice, the damn thing still kept shooting in semi like normal.
