  1. I used mine all day, in -10 Celcius, with 134a, and had no problems whatsoever.

Great! As soon as i get my bonus ( in 2 weeks ) i'm buying one ;) Unfortunately my local shop only has 2 extra mags available, does someone know where to buy them "cheaply" on the UK/Europe ?

  2. Well all mine needed was a damned good clean and lube to sort the consistence.

Now shooting around 365~ +/-6 at room temp (roughly 19-20c).

So unfortunately not skirmishable but have a DangerWerx valve on the way which I hope will arrive in time for next sunday.

If not, then Im hoping for lower temperatures. :P

Does it shoot straight ? 'Cause those FPS figures are just right for me ( max of 374fps )! Speaking about cold and temperatures, how do they cope with low temps ?

  3. I purchased mine from Airsoft World.

Dispatched 25th (I ordered at 2:30, pretty good) and arrived Today.

Too bad they ask for an arm&leg to ship here though <_<

For the price of KMP9 and 3 mags plus 40€ for shipping i can buy a Tercel 1911 and RS HERA ARMS CPE with shipping included or a new WE SCAR OB and upgrade it to the beejusus ... Decisions decisions

    EDIT:

Just found a local shop who sells them cheaper at £190 and since it's relatively close i can go and get it myself :D

Should get one next week :P

  4. So the consensus is that the ra-tech bolt carrier is of good quality ? I don't care about the NPAS and 350fps is just fine with me, if i want more power i'll just switch to my external rigged M4 and have all the power i want ( too much even ... even feeding it just 6bar/90 psi it spits out 450fps  ), i just want a good quality part.

I think i'm gonna buy me another PDW if i can get my hands on a trademarked one. So is the rat carrier good then ? You say that it allows for easy access, how does it differ from the stock one ?

  5. The only issue for some could be the depth that the fill nozzle now sits,a standard gas bottle nozzle may not reach, but i have some long adaptors that do the job great.

Damn then i would need to drill a much bigger hole if i wanted to switch the inlet valves for those used by my external rig. But how fazer are the valves from the bottom of the mag ?

  6. From the looks of things yes. A standard WE hammer should drop in without any problems. From here.

Remember though, if you choose to change one part on the trigger group you'll need to change everything or else they'll chew themselves up.

  7. Damn that's pretty interesting :blink::o

Never saw anything like that RS wise, is that something like "airsoft thought about it first" kinda of thing ? :o

    PS:

BTw is it just me who finds the translation a bit ... freaky ? I mean ... "electromotive cancer/gun (AEG) substance"

  8. So i took the plunge into the GBBR world... I order my G39 just now and I'm just wondering if there any things i should do as soon as it hits my door step?biggrin.gif

Field strip, remove old lubrication and lubricate with new quality products. Re-tighen eveything, locktite anything that you're sure you won't be removing any time soon.

  9. So any ETA on the 'new' type of M4 mag? (supposed to be based off the g36 mag?)

Not really, wouldn't trust in any ETA from them anyway. In the New Years video they gave an ETA of 1 month for the OB M4 kit, it's been more than 3 months and there's still no news about it :waggle:

  10. Do you guys know of a shop within the EU that has these mag conversion kits?

In stock ? Nop. But you could order from HK, it's cheaper and you shouldn't have any problems with customs. At least i didn't.

  11. HK stores should have the open bolt mag. It might not be listed in their websites so give them an email.

Yeah like I said ra-tech has them listed but he's from Portugal so it would be very hard for him to order from HK without getting them "stuck" in customs for a couple of months.

    @DesertFox

The new open bolt mags are completely different, I have 6 m14 mags and none of them leak. Unfortunately current STANAG mags are still of the old type, you can get them to be leak free but it takes work.

  12. Hi guys, i was about to get a G39, but the SCAR calling is too strong, so i decided to get an open bolt SCAR, problem is, i can't find mags for it anywhere... can someone help me out here? preferably a store in the EU...

Also, how is the gun? is it everything i have been dreaming of?

At the moment i don't think you'll find any STANAG open bolt mags anywhere ( i think the only place that has them is the ra-tech store ), you'll need to buy closed bolt mags and then buy & install the open bolt kit made for them.

  13. I was told that VFC did the revisions for their bolt carriers, and my retailer says VFC will do 1 for 1 broken Bolt carrier swap.

That's actually a pretty cool thing for them to do. Pitty my WE's work so good ... Might buy a VFC again in the future if the open bolt kits for the WE don't come out soon though.

  14. So you're basically paying twice the amount so that your mags don't drop out when you flip upside down and do somersaults during a game. Cool.

Don't try to tell me there isn't a Gucci gear element at play here!

I could go on explaining the advantages of the FastMAG system but i'm lazy so i'll just reply to your "argument",

Eagle Single AR Mag Pouch - $27

    FastMAG v3 - $29

( Prices taken from one major online retailer )

I fail to see your math .... ( and before you retort that you can get cheaper pouches, i can also get cheap copy fastmags ... hell i bough a pack of 3 for 10 bucks ).

    Gucci !! Ohhh wait ...
