Ok so I've been eying up the PolarStar Fusion Engine for a while now, but I love my Masada, so why not put the two together ? Only problem I am running into is I would have to gut the AEG portion of the gun for the Fusion engine, I tried contacting Magpul PTS but they won't sell a lower receiver part only. Figured I could ask here to see if anyone knows where I might be able to get one without having to buy a whole gun.

Star PMAGs work fine. They are a little loose, helps them drop with a push of the release which is nice. Feeding I have had no issue with them. Didn't know about the rangerplate issue with them. Good to know in case I want to add that later.

Both of these seem to work great , from the reviews, but it still doesn't solve the problem of the hopup not functioning. There must be some people out there with hopups that work fine, I was looking for more of a solution to figure what is wrong with the ones that are malfunctioning and fix it.

Was there ever a solution found for a non functioning hopup ? I tried changing the bucking and still no results. The hopup is working , looked at it with the barrel removed.

You didn't happen to snap any photos of the micro switch did you ? Wondering if it's just a common type that can be replaced easily, for that day when it comes.

Box of ten (10) Star PMAGs. In the bright green box. They fit fine, a little play but feed and lock in place. Will test more this weekend , if there are any problems I'll update.

Have a few PMAGs I bought from someone on ASF. They are knock offs, possibly ACM. They fit in the magwell, but the mag catch will not grab unless I give it a good solid whack. I tried sanding the mag a bit near the edges and for the catch but still a no go. Wondering if anyone else has these and has been able to get them to fit:

Is everyone getting a warranty/registration card with their gun ? I got mine but did not come with one. I sent an e-mail to where I bought it from and they deny it ever having one.

Just got my US version one and noticed this: Seems all of them are now getting this reinforcement.

Was this the only mod you had to make for the normal handguard to fit as well ? Seems it might be cheaper and better to replace that with the Bushmaster version as well.
